Carlsberg x Liverpool FC LEGENDary Football Party

In its recent Carlsberg x Liverpool FC LEGENDary Experience held at Plaza Arkadia, Carlsberg once again excelled at entertaining and celebrating football fans during an exhilarating football viewing party and autograph session with two Liverpool FC legends. Carlsberg had gone above and beyond to fulfil its promise of bringing the heart and spirit of football to life, cementing its position as the beer of choice for every football occasion.

Carlsberg and Liverpool FC, who have had the longest-running partnership in Premier League history since 1992, celebrate the amazing energy of sports and togetherness in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the collaboration. This historic occasion was celebrated all over the world, and local Liverpool FC supporters in Malaysia were gleeful with the release of the collectible Carlsberg Liverpool FC Legends Edition exclusive 6-can pack, which featured the jersey designs of six of the club’s incredible icons: Ian Rush, John Barnes, Sami Hyypiä, Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher, and Luis Garcia.

Guests were treated to a variety of activities as part of the Carlsberg x Liverpool FC LEGENDary Experience, including face painting, airbrush tattoos, sticker tattoos of the club’s logos, and action shots at the 360 spin-cam. Visitors also displayed their nimble footwork at the “Golden Glove” and “Kicks of Glory” game stations, where victors received a money-can’t-buy jersey and a 6-can unique Carlsberg Liverpool FC Legends Edition pack. The highlight of the evening was watching the Liverpool FC vs. Bournemouth FC match live with the team’s legends, Sami Hyypiä and John Barnes, who once controlled the cheers of spectators around the field personally.

The Plaza Arkadia courtyard, which glistened in a sea of red, was decorated in the style of an Anfield matchday, complete with game booths and throngs of Liverpool FC supporters enjoying cans of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner and Carlsberg Smooth Draught.

The dynamic vocals of SAB Acappella & Friends kicked off the event, which quickly moved into high gear. As football legends Sami Hyypiä and John Barnes approached the stage, there was an eruption of clapping and cheers. Before the first match of the evening began, Carlsberg-cum-Liverpool FC fans were treated to a meet & greet and photo opportunity with the LEGENDS.

With engaging activities, entertainment, and sporting events, Carlsberg continues to provide the greatest viewing events in town. From 28 August to 3 September 2022, football fans can experience the setup at Plaza Arkadia, which includes the overall décor, game stations, and replica locker room.

Liverpool FC fans can stand a chance to win the limited-edition keepsake cans when you purchase six full pints, 10 half pints, two buckets or one tower at your favourite bar or when you spend a minimum of RM20 at convenience stores or RM30 at super and hypermarkets and 99 Speedmart on either Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, Carlsberg Smooth Draught or Carlsberg Special Brew.
