vivo Launches New Colour Changing V25e and V25 in Malaysia

vivo has unveiled the latest additions to its stylish V series: V25e and V25 at a launch in Sunway City, Selangor on 29 August 2022. With its cutting-edge imaging technology and improved camera capabilities, the new V25 series builds on the legacy of the vivo V series. The 64MP OIS ultra-sensing camera on the rear minimises fuzzy photographs and offers a longer exposure time, producing sharper and brighter photos and videos even in low light.

The rear panel’s Color Changing Fluorite AG Glass has an eye-catching design that changes colour when exposed to UV light, reflecting the diverse personalities of users. Its powerful processor with high energy-efficiency ratio and great capacity combined with the most recent cooling technologies and fast charging capabilities offers a long-lasting and seamless mobile experience.

The V25e and V25 come equipped with a 64MP OIS ultra-sensing rear camera that boasts upgraded OIS and EIS capabilities. The V25’s Super Night Mode feature accurately restores the colours and brightness of highly saturated images at night. Both V25e and V25 also feature the Bokeh Flare Portrait, which uses vivo’s self-developed bokeh algorithms to deliver better portrait quality, producing superior outdoor portraits at night and scenes with more on-point light sources when taking photos outdoors.

The front camera of V25 comes with Natural Portrait video mode, which enhances the overall skin texture and clarity. Furthermore, the Hybrid Image Stabilization (OIS+EIS) feature makes video shooting clearer and more stable. Both the V25e and V25 can record 4K HD videos, together with the Video AI Face Beauty that allows high-definition selfies.

The V25 also comes with a new Vlog Movie feature that improves the filming experience with video templates and tutorials to guide users on how to shoot in different scenarios, such as night, food, city and more, as well as an upgraded Multi-Style Portrait feature in the front camera that provides fun filters, enhancing the video experience. The Multi-Style Portrait feature comes with the Motion Blur effect, a new style which innovatively separates people from the background for a better portrait creation experience. 

The V25e and V25 have 32MP and 50MP HD front cameras respectively with autofocus and eye focus capabilities, enabling users to take clear images and videos any time of the day or night. In addition, the front cameras are equipped with AI HD Algorithm that optimises sharpness.

The V25 and V25e series have a thin 2.5D body of 7.79mm, with a punch hole centered at the top of the front camera. The lightweight and slim body makes both devices a comfortable fit in the hands of users. vivo incorporated vivid colours into its newest models, with both the V25e and V25 are available in Sunrise Gold and Diamond Black, while the V25 has an additional colour, Aquamarine Blue.

With a rather revolutionary move, vivo designed the smartphones with the Color Changing Fluorite AG Glass, which enables the rear panel of the devices to display different colours at different angles when exposed to UV light. The Aquamarine Blue edition of V25 switches from ocean blue to bluish green; while the Sunrise Gold edition of V25e and V25 shifts from gold to reddish orange.

The new vivo V25 features a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with a high energy-efficiency ratio and 8GB RAM + 8GB extended RAM. The V25 supports 44W FlashCharge that can recharge the 4500mAh battery cell from 0% to 61% in 30 minutes.  

Meanwhile, the vivo V25e is fitted with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with designed for power efficiency and mated with 8GB + 8GB extended RAM. It features 256GB of internal storage and allows memory expansion of up to 1TB. The V25e also supports 44W FlashCharge that recharges its 4500mAh battery cell from 0% to 61% in 30 minutes.

The vivo V25 and vivo V25e are now available in Malaysia, priced at RM1,799 and RM1,399, respectively. The devices can be purchased at all vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-Store, and vivo Malaysia’s official flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada.

From 29 August to 2 September 2022, customers who purchase the vivo V25 are entitled to receive free gifts worth up to RM577, which includes a V25 series leather backpack worth RM129, 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249. 

Customers who purchase the vivo V25e are also entitled to free gifts worth RM547, which includes a V25e premium box Bluetooth speaker and V25 umbrella worth RM99, 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249.
