Marini’s on 57
On New Year’s Eve, Marini’s on 57 at KLCC will be featuring a decadent 13-course set menu which will include some of the finest ingredients including caviar, truffles, a foie gras terrine, and crepes with Maine lobster tail, priced from RM1,057++ per person.
After dinner, head over to the Marini’s on 57 bar to ring in 2018 and experience the best fireworks view in the city. This year’s Marini’s on 57 New Year’s Eve Party in the Sky will see DJ Ken Fan of Café Del Mar dropping the beat to make “Midnight at Marini’s” a party to remember.
China-born DJ Ken broke into the scene in 1999 when he was scouted by UK house music Pioneers Miss Moneypennys to become one of its resident DJs. He has since toured the globe, earned a nomination for Pioneers Best Breakthrough DJ in The House Music awards and worked with some of the world’s best venues.
He moved to Ibiza in 2009 where he now works as resident DJ at Café Del Mar Ibiza in addition to being their event and music manager. DJ Ken has produced and released numerous tracks on various labels, including Strictly Rhythm and 303 Lovers, as well as producing a debut EP, I Won’t Fall under his alter ego El Chino, a name given to him by DJ Sneak, which would be released on Sneak’s own I’m A House Gangster label.
DJ Ken’s year normally consists of living and working in Ibiza in the summer, spinning at the islands top hotspots, while winter normally sees him touring the globe, spreading some Balearic love wherever he may be.
The Midnight at Marini’s New Year’s Eve Party in the Sky on 31 December 2017 starts at 9.00pm. The cover charge for the event is RM150 which includes entry to the event and a drink.
