Every now and then comes along an event so special and memorable it stands out from the hundreds of events that I attend each year. I always look forward to the Marlboro M.Scape VIP Lounge during the Formula One and Moto GP races at the Sepang International Circuit, and this year I was privileged enough to be invited to attend on the Moto GP race day, 26 October 2014. I well and truly hate waking up early on weekends but I was so excited to visit the M.Scape Lounge that I barely got any sleep the night before.
In the morning, we made our way over to Zouk Club KL which was the registration and meeting point before boarding coaches bound for the circuit. Once there we were ushered into the Paddock Club and past all the other hospitality suites into the most happening one – the M.Scape Lounge. Waiting for us were a bevy of beauties who got us settled in and ready for the day’s programme.
After the interview, Cal Crutchlow autographed some exclusive merchandise which were later given out through the games, quiz and lucky draws.
We also had some time to walk around the mall area between the races and you can view some of the pics I shot during our walk here – https://timchew.net/2014/10/28/the-babes-of-the-malaysian-moto-gp-2014/
Race was won by Marc Marquez from team Repsol Honda followed by Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo from team Yamaha. Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso came in 8th while Cal Crutchlow did not complete the race.
The M.Scape Lounge is the ultimate race viewing experience, and for a chance to experience the Moto GP/ Formula One in true VIP style at the next Moto GP, do look out for the M.Scape team at major entertainment outlets in the months leading up to the race.
