The mood is merry and in the air there’s a distinct feeling of Christmas at Saint Pierre KL, located in W Kuala Lumpur. Celebrity Chef Emmanuel Stroobant is preparing for the festive season with four joyous menus: 1)Festive Set Lunch Menu, 2)Festive Corporate Dinner Menu, 3)Christmas Eve Dinner, and 4) New Year’s Eve Dinner.
The Saint Pierre KL Festive Set Lunch and Festive Corporate Dinner menus will be available for through the month of December 2019, while the Christmas Eve Dinner is an eight-course affair and the New Year’s Eve Dinner a nine-course celebration.
Festive Set Lunch Menu
The Festive Set Lunch Menu is available from 4 to 30 December 2019, from Wednesdays to Sundays, with the 3-course lunch priced at RM188 per person, while the 4-course lunch is priced at RM258 per person. Start with Buri or Black Truffle or Foie Gras (RM48 supplement) or Scallop, followed by a main course of Beef (RM28 supplement) or Snapper or Squash or Duck. For dessert, choose from Fruit Cake or Pineapple or Yule Log.
Festive Corporate Dinner Menu
The Festive Corporate Dinner menu is available from Tuesdays to Sundays between December 3 and December 30. Choose either 5 courses at RM388 per person, or 7 courses at RM588 per person. Dinner begins with Amuse Bouche featuring a series appetizing canapes, followed by a first starter of Uni – with an optional 5g of Osietra caviar (RM88 supplement) – and a second starter of Scallop or Foie Gras (RM48 supplement) or Monkfish. For the main course, let your palate be tickled by Chicken or Barramundi or Beef. And the sweet finale is either Fruit Cake or Pineapple.
Christmas Eve Dinner
On Tuesday, 24 December 2019 from 7pm onwards, celebrate with Chef Stroobant’s cheerfully modern French fare that only can create so perfectly festively. The 8-course dinner at RM668 starts with Canapés, and continues with Oyster and Uni and Lobster and Chicken. For the main course, choose from either Lamb or Wagyu (RM190 supplement). Since it is Christmas, Spiced Wine is appropriately the first dessert, followed by Cinnamon.
New Year’s Eve Dinner
Mark the end of the year and the beginning of a new one at Saint Pierre KL, with its magical nightscape of the Twin Towers and the Golden Triangle. On Tuesday, December 31 from 7pm onwards, the 9-course dinner at RM698 starts with Canapés and Caviar and King Crab, followed by Scallop and Snapper and Quail. The main course is a choice of Venison or Wagyu (RM190 supplement), and the two desserts are Cherry and Thyme – to ring in the new year in that sweet and very special way that only Saint Pierre can create.

Lafite in Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur has specially curated French-inspired menus this holiday season.
On Christmas Eve, the Deluxe Dinner buffet happens from 7:00PM – 10:30PM priced at RM410 nett per person, while on New Year’s Eve, the 6-course set Dinner menu happens from 7:00PM – 10:30PM priced at RM680 nett per person (there’s an “EARLY BIRD OFFER” of RM620 nett per person).
On Christmas Day. Lafite will be hosting a Deluxe Lunch buffet (with complimentary wine & beer!) from 12:00PM – 2:30PM priced at RM410 nett per person. Dance into the New Year at the Countdown Party which will have lively music, delicate champagnes and fun-filled party packs for everyone! The party starts from 8:00PM till late night with a table for 2 priced at RM690 nett and includes one (1) bottle of champagne, table for 4 at RM1,200 nett (includes 2 bottles of champagne), table for 6 at RM1,700 nett (includes 3 bottles of champagne). Aloft Kuala Lumpur
Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral’s all-day dining restaurant will be having a Christmas spread available from 6 to 30 December 2019. The buffet will feature a variety of traditional and western Christmas classics with Nook’s speciality dishes of local favourites to complement the festive spread, prepared by the Hotel’s jolly new Chef de Cuisine, Mohd. Rais Effandi Zakaria.
The highlight of the holiday feast at Nook is its carving station featuring meaty dishes on a rotational menu, including Prime Rib with Thyme Sauce, Yorkshire Pudding and Garden Vegetables, Roasted Beef with Garlic Sauce, Roasted Lamb Leg with Home-baked Cocktail Potato, Mint and Black Pepper Sauce and Seabass En Papillote with Vegetables and Potato.
Nook’s Roasted Brine Turkey with Bread Chestnut Stuffing, Cranberry Jam and Giblet Sauce will be available daily at the carving station. As a special for dinner on Christmas Eve, the Roasted Turkey will be complemented with Brussel Sprouts with Smoked Duck Lardon.
Look out for traditional western favourites such as the Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Pot Pie, Lamb and Mushroom Ragout, Seafood Lasagna, Black Mussel Aglio Olia, Shepherd’s Pie and Osso Buco, a traditional Italian dish of veal shanks braised with vegetables and broth.
The festive spread will also feature a section of appetisers, cold cuts, salads, soups, cheese platter, antipasto corner, noodles counter, pizza specials, Malay, Chinese and Indian hot dishes, and a specially dressed up dessert selection.
For dessert, look out for the Chocolate Yule Log Cake, Vanilla Yule Log Cake, Minced Pie, Mixed Berry Pavlova, Pecan Nuts Tart, Salted Caramel Profiteroles, Cherry Pumpkin Clafoutis, Black Forest Shooter, Fruit Triffle, Christmas Pudding, Cranberry and Apple Pie, Chocolate Fountain with condiments and more, all available on rotational basis for dinner.
