Jaeger-LeCoultre Launches New Concept Store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrated the opening of the new concept store at Pavilion KL on 27 September 2017, with a launch party for over 350 of the city’s socialites and celebrities. Geoffroy Lefebvre, Deputy CEO of The Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, Maxence Kinget, Managing Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre South East Asia and Oceania and Reena Tan, Country Manager of Jaeger-LeCoultre Malaysia and Vietnam graced the event alongside the Swiss Embassy’s Charge d’affaires of Switzerland to Malaysia Mr Werner Bardill and Dato Joyce Yap, CEO of Pavilion KL.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially launch the new store, guests were treated to a performance by Canadian Songbird, Janaia, while models sashayed down the catwalk with timepieces by Jaeger-LeCoultre. At the cocktail reception, exclusive watches were on display and the highlights included vintage pocket watch collection that was brought in specifically for the launch, unique timepieces such as the Hybris Artistica Mysterieuse, Grand Complication like the Reverso Gyrotoubillion Tribute, The Master Minute Repeater Ultra Thin and also Enamel pieces with paintings from Van Gogh. An array of high jewellery pieces such as the Rendez-Vous collection with beauty in aesthetics and innovation of Swiss fine watchmaking also fascinated guests.

The new Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique is located on the prime spot on the second floor, measures a total of about 1500 sq-feet, and showcases the art of fine watchmaking, and the savoir-faire and iconic style of the prestigious Manufacture.

“Also designed to reflect the serene atmosphere of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, the Art Deco aesthetic is prominent in the design of all of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s boutiques across the globe in consistent with the brand’s identity,” added Mr. Lefebvre.
