Xixili Lingerie Fashion Show 2017 – Wanderlust, Come Away With Me

  

XIXILI unveiled their Spring Summer 2017 Collections in its 5th annual lingerie fashion show themed “Wanderlust, Come Away With Me” at Makespace, Quill City Mall on 18 May 2017. The theme was inspired by the Spring Summer 2017 campaign shoot taken in Bali; capturing the outdoor serenity with natural daylight; breezy weather; nonchalant poses and effortless styling.

 

 

 

 

The show  featured a total of 56 lingerie sets from everyday basic wear to those for special occasions with an extensive of brassieres styles and loungewear. This season’s colour palette is dominated by shades of pastel pink, sweet ivory and champagne gold, all with an array of intertwined delicate embroidery laces and lustre microfiber fabrics. This season’s collection also included statement lingerie pieces in animal leopard prints – for the tigress woman in corporate or in the bedroom.

 

Official partners for the event included hair styling by Number 76, makeup by Benefit Cosmetics, venue by Makespace (which is essentially an empty lot in Quill City Mall), Arimino Tokyo, Juiceworks, PST Travel, Saito College and Strip Malaysia.

Jalan Jalan Cari Makan – Mian at Sunwaymas Commercial Centre

 

Weekends are the times where I go food hunting with my friends/ partner and last weekend it was Mian in Sunwaymas Commercial Centre which serves up some really good kampua noodles!

For the longest time, I thought they were one and the same. However over the past couple of years, as more and more politicians as well as individuals linked to certain parties in our fair land started making stupid statements, I discovered the difference.

The stupid statements were meant to fool the ignorant citizens which allowed the person/ party making the stupid statement to get away with whatever stupid/ unethical/ immoral/ criminal act they perpetrated.

Guess the jokes on us in the end. It’s time the citizens of our fair land cast off the cloak of ignorance and hold the people accountable for their misdeeds. Failure to do so will see the country going to the dogs.
