Lenovo A7000 Launched in Malaysia

Lenovo Malaysia launched their new A7000 smartphone on 12 May 2015 at GSC in 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya. The A7000 is the world’s first smartphone with Dolby Atmos audio technology, and also features a 5.5-in HD display with ultra-wide viewing angles.

The A7000 is the latest in Lenovo’s A or ‘Affordable’ series of smartphones and runs on Android 5.0 with a MediaTek True8Core™ processor with 4G LTE. The phone has a dual SIM card slot and is just 7.9mm thin and 140 grams light.

The very surprising addition to this smartphone is the Dolby Atmos technology which allows users to enjoy a rich, immersive sound experience when using headphones to play music, videos, games, and even video chats.

Sounds of people, places, things, and music become more vivid and move from all directions, including overhead, with greater clarity, richness and depth. Voices and noises have a broader range from highs to lows, with the greatest subtlety. The technology also makes playback volume more consistent across all types of content.

The A7000 comes with a large 2900mAh battery and you can even utilise the A7000 as a power bank to charge other phones from it. The smartphone supports OTG, and you can connect USB drives (with microUSB connector) for data transfer on the go.

The A7000 comes in two colours: Onyx Black or Pearl White at the recommended retail price of RM699.00

There is also an exclusive partnership between Lenovo Malaysia and Lazada Malaysia to launch and retail the Lenovo A7000 Smartphone as part of a regional initiative. This marks the first time Lenovo is doing a concurrent launch across six ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
