Headed over to Black Box in Publika on 26 May 2015, Kuala Lumpur for the XIXILI’s Spring/Summer showcase and a sneak peek into their upcoming Autumn/Winter collection. This year’s XIXILI lingerie fashion show was themed XIXILI Night Walks: In the Wilderness, We Walk Alone and the venue was transformed into a dark jungle with leaves on the floor and long grass surrounding the catwalk..
The evening kicked off with a body art ballet performance in XIXILI lingerie after which Lisa Yap, International Elite Artist & Education Manager from Shu Uemura and Hikimoto Yuko, also known as Ms Hikky from Number76, Director Stylist at Number76 Publika gave a demo of their skills.
Then the rest of the fashion show got underway with the showcase of XIXILI’s new collections.
The new collection featured exotic python prints, safari leopard patterns and striking floral designs. Number76 hair salon styled the models with a wet and messy hair look, while Shu Uemura make up artists provided a nude and earthy palette for the face topped with deeply accented eyes. Each model was further accessorized in tribal neckpieces, elaborate bangles and ankle bells.
With the new collections, homegrown Malaysian label, XIXILI continues to provide consumers with high quality, comfortable yet fashionably functional lingerie. Sponsors for the show included Official Hair Styling Partner Number 76, Official Makeup Partner Shu Uemura, Arimino Tokyo, Body Perfect, Digi, Juiceworks and Strip.
