Lifejuice at One Utama Shopping Centre
[Food & Beverage]
I’ve developed a new habit whenever I go to One Utama Shopping Centre which is basically my neighbourhood mall and that is to pick up a bottle of Lifejuice depending on my current need that day. For example, if I’m feeling rather under the weather then I’d opt for a vitamin C booster like Citrus Blast, or if I didn’t eat enough vege that day I’d opt for Salad in a bottle.
Many juice kiosks in the market use conventional centrifugal juicers or blenders that heat up and kill the enzymes and nutrition of the produce, leaving juices with more sugar and less nutrition. Lifejuice uses their state-of-the-art cold-press machines imported from the United States and Korea. Lifejuice’s cold press juicer gently extract the juice without the use of blades ensuring that all the goodness of the juices is preserved. Lifejuice’s old pressed juices have no added preservatives and can last up to 72 hours.

FYI when you see expiry dates that exceed 3 days from the time of juicing, or products that are not cold pressed, or are pasteurised, you can expect that the products do not contain as much nutrition as cold pressed juices.
Lifejuice sources most of their vegetables and fruits from local farms that utilize sustainable farming practices to grow nutritious vegetables and fruits without harming the environment.
Regular sized bottles are priced at RM12.90 while the large bottles go for RM14.90 each.
Supercharged juices go for RM18.90 and contain extra ingredients to provide even more nutrition!
You can also opt for smoothies which are priced at RM15.90 each.

Spanish National Day Party at La Bodega
Veron and I headed over to La Bodega in Bangsar Shopping Centre on 11 October 2014 for a night of delicious paellas, tapas, and canapés at La Bodega’s Spanish National Day Party. The event featured performances by Volando Boys & Friends, featuring Mathilde Limal, and an authentic Flamenco guitarist and dancer coming all the way from Spain.

Apart from the wines, sangria and beer, we also got to drink Tio Pepe sherry which I reviewed not too long ago – https://timchew.net/2014/07/17/tio-pepe-sherry-wine-tasting-at-la-bodega-bsc-fuego-troika/
