Encorp Strand Mall had its grand launch on 28 May 2014 with a ceremony that was officiated by Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.  The mall is part of a mixed development which includes the shopping mall, residential tower, and the Red Carpet Avenue. The 435,000 square feet, 3 storey mall, has a multi story parking for 2,500 cars and is another addition to the Kota Damansara commercial hub. 

The grand launch featured Champours Parlour aerialists and Cirque du Strand from Australia, performances by Reshmonu, Suki Low and Sheila Majid.

Occupancy in the mall is rather low but the supermarket, TGV cinemas, Starbucks and a couple other outlets are already open. Hopefully more outlets will open soon.

Julie’s + LINE Promotion

Julie’s and LINE announced a collaboration on 4 June 2014 in Damansara Perdana which will see LINE’s Brown and Cony featured on the Julie’s Oat 25 Chocolate and Oat 25 Strawberry cookies packaging. Consumers will also stand to win Brown and Cony plush toys in the consumer promotion which runs from 1 June until 31 August 2014.
