Glenmorangie Orange Party at Zouk Club KL (2014)
Glenmorangie celebrated all things ‘Unnecessarily Well Made’ at its first Glenmorangie Orange Party of 2014 at Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur on 22 May 2014 in a party where guests, celebrities and fans of Glenmorangie experienced a creative impression of “Unnecessarily Well Made” as they took a 3-D artistic journey throughout the Glenmorangie Distillery, accompanied by a walkabout cask (see the pic of the guy in the cask in the event photos below).
The 3D artistic experience was a collaboration with Haze Long, a 3-D illustration specialist, who created three art pieces depicting the Glenmorangie Distillery in Scotland. Each 3-D art piece also displayed a unique ADA code which revealed interesting bits of information of the iconic Glenmorangie Distillery item represented in the art piece.
There were three lucky guests that walked away with a bottle of Glenmorangie The Original each, by dialling the ADA code the most amount of times in three different time slots during the night. Guests who captured their favourite Glenmorangie moments at the Flipet booth were given an animated flip-book of themselves as a keepsake from the party.
Guests also got to enjoy the Glenmorangie Zest Serve – a drink that infuses zesty tangerine to complement the notes of vanilla and citrus zest of Glenmorangie The Original.
Glenmorangie’s believes in delivering the best at their bespoke parties, testament to their driving spirit which stems from Glenmorangie’s tried and tested decree of being “Unnecessarily Well Made”; from using the tallest distillery stills in Scotland, to sourcing the finest white oaks for maturation casks that are only ever used twice.

Huawei Honor 3C and Vmall.my Launch
[Tech & Gadgets]
Huawei recently launched its new Honor 3C in Kuala Lumpur, a refined smartphone which has been customized for frequent social media users, and comes with a quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU, 5-inch LTPS HD display powered by Android 4.2.
Malaysia is the first country in South East Asia to launch the Huawei Honor 3C and the Huawei official online store vmall.my outside China. Vmall.my is Huawei’s new e-commerce platform exclusively for Malaysians, and is an online point of sale in addition to the Huawei’s plan to bring 100 concept stores to consumers across Malaysia this year.
Vmall.my is designed to provide consumers with a simple and uncomplicated interface to browse, select and purchase Huawei products at their convenience. Product delivery is within 3 to 5 working days after the order is placed. Honor 3C buyers are also entitled to a six month “1-to-1” swap policy provided the product is purchased via Vmall.my.
The Honor 3C is lighter, shorter and narrower by 5 grams, 4.5mm and 2.2mm respectively compared to its predecessor. Its round edge design and straight-forward aeronautical magnesium alloy chassis architecture was designed to provide users with a comfortable grip on the device.
The Honor 3C comes equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera, allowing its users to take high quality “selfies”, adjustable via its auto facial-enhancing capabilities. The camera is fitted with a F2.4 aperture and has a wide angle lens, making selfies with multiple persons possible.
At the rear, the technology behind the 8MP camera is based on the back-illuminated sensor (BSI), a digital image sensor which enables production of significantly improved low-light images. The software is enhanced with IMAGESmart, a Huawei proprietary feature, and enables automatic adjustment of contrast and colour enhancement, auto scene recognition, object tracing focus, and instant facial beauty support. You can also take shots from a 4cm macro view, voice shots, panorama shots and shots while recording.
The phone runs 30% more efficiently than its predecessor via “Smart Power”, has 2GB of RAM and Capacitative Touch, and comes with Huawei’s trademark Emotional UI 2.0 and Phone Manager functions, with the latter enabling users to have full control of their device including notifications, network applications, startup applications, among others.
Users have the choice of six colours to choose from including Lamborghini Yellow, Titanium Gray, Rococo Pink, Tiffany Green, Pearl White and Champagne Gold. Battery covers which come in the aforementioned six colors are also sold separately.
The Honor 3C is priced at RM499.00 and is now available on Huawei’s e-commerce platform – http://www.vmall.my
