Budweiser’s “Rise As One” Campaign Launch



I headed over to Score at The Roof in First Avenue Bandar Utama (yes again and yes it’s like I go there at least once a week ha ha! Well it is the hottest new spot in town) on 19 March 2014 for the launch of the Budweiser Beer (which is distributed in Malaysia by Luen Heng F&B Sdn. Bhd.) “Rise as One” campaign as Budweiser is the Official Beer Sponsor for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

In conjunction with the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Budweiser has designed a holistic creative platform under the “Rise As One” thematic campaign, which will serve to celebrate the moments that unite and inspire fans of the beautiful game around the world. What’s more is that the grand prize of the contest will see two (2) lucky Malaysian winners experience an exciting Budweiser Hospitality Package to watch the 2014 FIFA World Cup Semi-Final live match in the Sao Paulo, Brazil later this July.


Kenneth Soh, General Manager of Luen Heng F&B Sdn. Bhd. (5th from right), shared that football was chosen as their marketing platform as it unites fans from across the globe, and through this platform Budweiser hopes to share in the excitement with local fans right here in Malaysia. There will be exclusive Budweiser World Cup merchandise up for grabs to reward Budweiser consumers and two (2) lucky Malaysians will win a once in a lifetime experience to the two lucky Malaysian Grand Prize winners to watch the 2014 World Cup Semi-Finals Live in Sao Paulo, Brazil later in July



Budweiser also took the opportunity to unveil its special designed packaging for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The gold colour limited edition aluminum trophy bottle will be introduced simultaneously in more than forty countries, and features the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy which represents the pinnacle of football achievement and is coveted by footballers around the world.

The 473ml limited edition trophy bottle will be accompanied by the 355ml limited edition cans which will be available in Malaysia from 1 May 2014.

Budweiser has been the official beer sponsor of the FIFA World Cup™ for over 25 years, and will see it continue the partnership in the 2018 World Cup Russia and 2022 World Cup Qatar tournaments.



Step 1: With every purchase of two bottles or cans Budweiser beer from the participating outlets in Malaysia, the consumer is eligible to one entry.

Step 2: Fill in the contest form (downloadable from FB/BudweiserMalaysia) and answer a simple question.

Step 3: Attach the original copy of purchase receipt. Drop the contest form into the contest box in key outlets, or mail to Wisma LHA, No. 8, Jalan Kilang Midah, Taman Midah, 56000 Kuala Lumpur before respective deadlines.
