[Upcoming Event]
I missed the Where’s the Party (WTP) pre-party at Neverland, Kuala Lumpur on 25 May 2013 as I was up in Penang covering another event.
Last year ‘Where’s The Party?’ III saw 1,200 lucky winners from Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore were kept in suspense as to where the location of the party was until the state (which was Penang) was revealed a week before. In fact this is the concept of all the Where’s the Party? parties hence the name of the party (duh!). This is to challenge party-goers to step out of their comfort zone and step up and be brave (remember those Carlsberg ads that gives you a choice whether to do the brave thing or the cowardly thing?) and as a reward they get to party at one of the most epic parties in Malaysia!
Read about my experience at the last Where’s the Party? in Penang here – https://timchew.net/2012/11/24/adv-carlsbergs-wheres-the-party-2012/
I had such a blast there and I’m sure the upcoming party will prove to be as or even more fun than previous parties!
Here’s a little video recap of the party in Penang.

At the Neverland pre-party, guests were given a chance to step up and compete in a series of games and contests to bag some invites to the upcming WTP. The fourth WTP will see local and global artistes converging under one roof, and party-goers who make it into ‘Where’s The Party?’ 2013 in Malaysia will have a chance to win all expense paid trips with three buddies to see DJ Axwell at the global “Where’s The Party’. Imagine partying with guests from all over the world!

Missed the party at Neverland? Well eight more teaser parties will be held nationwide leading up to the main event and you’ll have a chance to win five sets of invites at each pre-party. You can also win invites by catching the Carlsberg Roving ‘Where’s The Party?’ Troupe (psst! Check Carlsberg Malaysia’s Facebook page for locations) at selected locations in Malaysia and participating in some games or if you’re me play with the girls.
Can’t make it to any of the WTP pre-parties and can’t catch the roving team? Don’t fret, you can score yourself and a couple of friends some invitations to the upcoming WTP 2013 on 6 July by simply purchasing RM100.00 of Carlsberg beer. Then make sure you keep the receipt and point your browser to www.wherestheparty.my to register and be in the running to win you and your friends a set of invites. Psst! Movie Review – The Hangover Part III
.
It’s been two years since the crazy adventure in Bangkok. Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Doug (Justin Bartha) are happily living uneventful lives at home. Tattoos have been lasered off, files purged. The last they heard from Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong), he’d been tossed into a Thai prison and, with him out of the way, the guys have very nearly recovered from their adventures in the Hangover and Hangover 2.
The only member of the Wolfpack who’s not content and is up to mischief is Alan (look out for the giraffe scene). Still lacking a sense of purpose, the group’s trouble-maker has ditched his meds and given into his natural impulses in a big way—which, for Alan, means no boundaries, no filters and no judgment. Cue – TROUBLE!
This time, there’s no bachelor party and no wedding. But when the Wolfpack is together you just know that trouble will find them.
The Hangover Part III stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Heather Graham, Jamie Chung, Jeffrey Tambor, John Goodman, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Melissa McCarthy, and Zach Galifianakis.
If you’re a fan of the Hangover movies then you must watch this one as it brings closure to the Wolfpack’s adventures.

The Hangover Part III opens in Malaysian cinemas on 30 May 2013.
