An Oriental Affair – Aruku the Walk’s Grand Launch

Once in a while it is quite nice to club outside Kuala Lumpur so when Aruku the Walk invited Malaysia’s Hottest Bloggers to attend their grand launch in Johor Bahru on we decided to call up our friends at Nissan and test-drive two of their cars at the same time.

The Sylphy is a C-segment sedan with low fuel consumption and very comfortable over long distances while the 5-seater X-Gear tuned by Impul is a crossover between a SUV and MPV.

We arrived in JB in the evening and checked-in to our hotel then headed to one of the Chinese restaurants opposite for a quick but delicious dinner then headed back to the rooms to get dressed for out night out at one of the latest and most happening clubs in JB – Aruku the Walk at Plaza Sentosa.

The grand launch of Aruku the Walk themed “An Oriental Affair” kicked off with a delicious buffet spread with guests entertained by the Jasmine Chinese Band and street magicians.

Soon after guests were ushered inside through the dazzling lighted tunnel to the main room where a live band was on hand singing and dancing to the latest hits and pop songs and had the crowd singing with them.

Now I haven’t been to JB in like 7 years so I was very impressed with the interior of the club. Indeed it could rival any of KL’s clubs with it’s advanced sound and light system and interiour design with nice sofas in the VIP area and a modern and striking bar.
