WeChat Party 2013

Smartphones have been around for a while and have revolutionised the way we keep in touch by allowing us access to the internet, games, social media platforms and of course communication apps!

WeChat is a mobile phone text and messaging communications service developed by Tencent in China. It was initially launched as Weixin in China in January 2011, with international language support enable in October 2011. It was rebranded as WeChat in April 2012 and has more than 300 million users by January 2013.

I had the opportunity to discover more about this fast-growing application at the WeChat Party 2013 at Neverland KL on 2 April 2013.
