Swedish House Mafia Live in Kuala Lumpur

NYE (31 Dec 2012) was rather normal as there were no notably big parties this year so I was really looking forward to the first really big event of 2013 which was Swedish House Mafia’s – One Last Tour.

Held on 18 January 2013 at Sunway Lagoon, I eagerly drove back from Malacca (Ashley, Kate and myself were there for Mixx Club’s 1st Anniversary Party the night before) to attend the event.

Now amazingly there were really a lot of different zones for the event but I was hosted by the nice folks at Asahi Malaysia inside the Asahi VIP zone. Purposely went slightly earlier to avoid the jam, had a good meal then went to the party venue and here’s what what down…

It started drizzling when Swedish House Mafia took to the stage but it did nothing to dampen the spirits of the thousands of fans who showed up.

I saw some negative comments on Facebook which mentioned the poor planning of the event and I do somewhat agree. There’s certainly a lot of room for improvement for the organiser.

I actually enjoyed myself quite a bit and I think the people I was with was greatly responsible for that. Nothing like having some good friends and fun people with you!
