Mixx Club Malacca’s 1st Anniversary Party

Every now and then I go out of Kuala Lumpur to party or attend an event. This time round it was Mixx Club Malacca’s 1st Anniversary Party so I headed down to Malacca on 17 January 2013 with MHB’s Kate and Ashley Mah.

The club is located in Mahkota Parade and as we were staying right next door at the very new Hatten Hotel we simply just crossed the road to the shopping mall and made our way up to the first floor.

Now it was my first time ever at Mixx Club and I was pretty impressed as it was a multi room establishment with the latest sound and lightsd equipment which could give any of the KL clubs a good run for their money. Furthermore the club was packed with party-goers at 8.00pm proving that Malaccans know how to party!

Mixx Club plays commercial, top 40’s, hip hop, R&B, retro, a little bit of house and are pretty open format when is comes to music.

Unfortunately it was a really short 2D/ 1N trip as we hurried back to Kuala Lumpur to attend Swedish House Mafia in Sunway Lagoon so there was no opportunity to explore Malacca and eat the chicken rice balls or satay celup. Perhaps next round…
