Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd unveiled the ‘All-New Jazz Hybrid‘ on 15 March 2012, which debuts as Honda’s latest addition to its family of hybrid cars in Malaysia. This eco-friendly and practical compact 5-door is a naturally-aspirated hatchback, which features Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system under its hood while retaining the familiar key features of the Jazz.
The All-New Jazz Hybrid was developed from the popular Jazz line-up, which was a class of it’s own when it first emerged on the market years ago. It is stylish in design, greener in its performance and extremely versatile. The All-New Jazz Hybrid draws on Honda’s efficient packaging technologies that leverage on the innovative centre tank layout, “Ultra Seat” configurations and aerodynamic features. It offers a package of compact appearance, practicality, excellent fuel efficiency, and incredible flexibility.

Designed with everyday driving and use in mind, the All-New Jazz Hybrid combines spaciousness, utility, fuel economy, low carbon emission, refinement, comfort and enhanced safety all into one very attractive package. The car underbody for the All-New Jazz Hybrid was exclusively developed to achieve the right balance in view of the employment of the IMA system. It is billed as a car that puts the ‘fun’ back into driving.

Enhanced safety features from 6 airbags and intelligent Hill-Start Assist function add to the great value of the All-New Jazz Hybrid. The Hill-Start Assist function is a confidence-enhancing feature that helps prevent roll back when starting from a stop on a hill.
To further reflect its advanced and clean design, the All-New Jazz Hybrid comes with a glove box cooler, chrome grille with blue reflector, chrome rear garnish, rear LED lights with blue highlight, 15-inch Alloy Wheels, Multi Information Display (MID) and Charge Assist Indicator.
The All-New Jazz Hybrid is available in 5 colours namely Fresh Lime Metallic, Alabaster Silver, Milano Red, Crystal Black Pearl and Taffeta White.
Honda Malaysia targets to sell 3,000 units of the All-New Jazz Hybrid by the end of this year and will continue to introduce more new hybrid models to the Malaysian market. The total target for Honda’s hybrid series is 10,000 units for year 2012.
The All-New Jazz Hybrid comes with a 5-year or 140,000km warranty for IMA battery which is the same with the Insight and CR-Z and is the longest among the industry.
