There are a couple of events that I look forward to every year and I must say very honestly that the Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge parties are very high on the list. I mean what’s there not to like with the great venue, awesome entertainment, beautiful crowd, and of course a quality whisky!

So it was with great anticipation that I waited for this year’s first Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge which was held in conjunction with the Malaysian Formula One GP. This time round the venue – Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS), was rather far away from my house therefore I decided to be responsible and not drink and drive hence I booked a room in a nearby resort so I could enjoy the party to the fullest.

Anyway got to the venue around 8-ish after I took Elaine, Stella, and James exploring Putrajaya as being a typical guy I didn’t want to listen to directions.

DJ Nadine, Miss Universe Malaysia 2010, got the party started by displaying her DJing skills while Hong Kong clubbing maestro DJ Dim Sum taking over after she finished. He definitely had the crowd on the huge dance floor pumping before turning over the decks to the energetic Smith Agent Smith, who took it up a couple of notches with his skilful “live” mixing using an “Ableton” set-up. Headliner DJ Politik, from Hollywood then took the party to the wee hours of the morning.
