As the year draws to a close, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor’s finest hotels are once again turning their attention to the festive season, with an extensive line-up of Christmas and New Year dining on offer. From traditional Christmas feasts to New Year’s Eve countdown parties, this list rounds up what the city’s top properties have planned for the season ahead.

Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur has announced its festive season offerings for the year-end period, with a calendar of dining experiences running from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day across the hotel’s restaurants and bars, including Curate, Yun House, The Lounge and Bar Trigona.
This year’s programme is anchored by a seasonal afternoon tea paired with a batik painting experience, alongside a collection of locally inspired cocktails developed for each of the hotel’s dining venues.

The Lounge will host a Festive Afternoon Tea with Batik Painting from 1 to 31 December 2026, combining a hands-on batik session with a holiday-themed tea menu. Sweet selections include the Winter Wonderland Opera with Earl Grey frost, Santa’s Choux with cinnamon whip ganache, and Polar Express with eggnog mousse, alongside savoury items such as Sabah lobster terrine, foie gras praline and beef rendang croquette with truffle and nasturtium, served with a choice of tea or coffee.
Beverage Manager Alexandre Renoue, newly arrived from Nashville, has developed five signature cocktails for his first festive season at the hotel, one for each dining venue. These include Festive Bloom at Curate, built on hibiscus, cranberry and calamansi; Golden Winter at Yun House, made with cognac, jasmine, mandarin and ginger; and Pain d’Hiver at Bar Trigona, combining bourbon, brown butter, French cake spices and Trigona honey. Non-alcoholic options include Christmas in the Tropics at the Pool Bar & Grill and Winter Rose at The Lounge.
The festive calendar opens with a Thanksgiving dinner buffet on 26 November 2026, featuring whole roast turkey and roasted prime rib.
Christmas dining runs from 24 to 25 December 2026. Curate will mark the occasion with carollers, live music and a visit from Santa Claus, alongside a menu featuring Cantonese steamed lobster, a whole yellowfin tuna and Beef Wellington, with a Yule Log served tableside. At the Michelin-selected Yun House, Chef Jimmy Wong presents a Cantonese-inflected Christmas set menu.
New Year celebrations take place on 31 December 2026 and 1 January 2027. Bar Trigona, ranked among Asia’s 50 Best Bars for an eighth consecutive year, will host a countdown party with free-flow prosecco, cocktails and a live DJ. Curate will offer a New Year’s Eve dinner buffet with an Imperial Caviar station and Teochew-style lobster, continuing into brunch and dinner service on New Year’s Day.
Throughout December, Bar Trigona offers its Handpicked by Trigona – Winter Harvest Edition cocktail collection at MYR 68 per cocktail, while Curate runs a festive buffet (27 November to 23 December and 26 to 30 December) with lunch at MYR 220 per adult and MYR 110 per child, and dinner at MYR 280 per adult and MYR 140 per child.
For home celebrations, the hotel is taking pre-orders for Thanksgiving items from 1 November, with pickup from 23 November to 31 December, and for festive cakes and pastries from 1 November, with pickup throughout December. Both can be ordered via the hotel’s website.
