Taverna by The Tokyo Restaurant is Now Open at “The Table” at Isetan The Gardens Mall

Retail destination Isetan at The Gardens Mid Valley recently debuted new additions to its recently launched “The Table” at Isetan The Gardens Mall. Joining the collection of restaurants are Taverna by The Tokyo Restaurant and Kintsugi. “The Table”, Isetan’s dining concept at Isetan The Japan Store was launched and added to Isetan the Gardens Mall in September 2022.

Taverna by The Tokyo Restaurant offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that combines the finest of Italy and Japan. Taverna is a fusion of cuisine, craft, and culture, with influences ranging from the Italian’s elegant attention to detail to Japanese dedication to craft, to mid-century aesthetic sensibilities.

The Tokyo Restaurant’s Taverna integrates Italian cuisine with Japanese ingredients and influences. The culinary experience offered by Taverna aims to transport diners beyond the boundaries of the restaurant thanks to the skillful, seamless combination of culture and tradition, past and present.

Signature dishes include Squid Ink Aglio Olio with Japanese Oyster, The Combo Chicken Cacciatore, Fresh River Prawn with Tomato Risotto, TTR Ossobuco and the Japanese Wagyu Bistecca.
