The Clam Bar

The multi-award winning SOULed OUT Group expands its F&B empire with the opening of WIP On The Park, just a stone’s thrown from the Petronas Twin Towers in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Having thrived in the dining scene for over 26 years (Ed – I even patronised their very first outlet in Mont Kiara!), the group decided to expand its very popular outlet WIP in Bangsar Shopping Centre to Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle.

From its beginnings as a Work In Progress to what is probably the most popular dining and drinking outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre, WIP is now Whipped Into Place and its second outlet is located at Marc Residence along Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur.

Cosmopolitan cuisine is the direction of WIP’s menu that takes inspiration from different continents, prepared with quality and fresh ingredients. WIP on the Park boasts an innovative and creative menu that caters to a wide variety of tastebuds.

The uniquely shaped Clam Bar is where a selection of signature cocktails like Mojitos and Martinis, as are fine whiskies, boutique liquors, premium beers, champagnes, and wine are poured and served.

The SOULed OUT Group converted Tujo’s relocation to Marc Residence into an introduction of a new dining establishment for city dwellers. Staying true to form, WIP On The Park mirrors its existing outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre in bringing a chic urban tropic garden to downtown living.

Inspired to transport its clientele to a trendy, lush gastro-lounge, WIP On The Park combines a contemporary interior palette with cascading windows and verdant plant walls on a sprawling 10,000 square feet atrium, a massive visually appealing LED screen and a patio for those who still prefer open-air drinking and dining.

WIP On The Park has a variety of drinks, from specialised wines from around the world to local beers and an expansive spirits menu that encompasses an impressive variety of whiskies, gin, rum, vodka, brandy, and tequila. Rendering new liquid specialities that veer towards new-age concoctions like the Cabernet Mojito, Smash Hit, Coco-groni and Tropic Thunder, the latest beverage menu delivers an elegant selection made with all natural ingredients and fine spirits.  The bartenders are always happy to recommend the suitable cocktails to suit patrons’ various tastes.

WIP On The Park has almost 100 flavourful dishes on the menu. Crowd pleasers include the Coastal Aglio Olio, Kerala Style Fish in Banana Leaf and Chicken Makanwala are a permanent fixture while the Black Angus Fried Kway Teow has had a recipe make-over to cater to today’s more sophisticated palates. Among the new additions of unique entrées are the Short Rib Nasi Lemak, Kashmiri Lamb Rack, Wagyu Truffle Pesto Burger and the Seafood Tom Yum Fettuccine that infuses the best of both Asian and European cuisine.

Celebrity Chef Sapna Anand will be holding a guest chef spot exclusive to WIP On The Park, bring patrons her flavourful dishes made from the best, freshest and finest Indian spices throuugh thematic dining sessions during the exclusive Chef’s Table nights.
