Halcyon Days display at Altitude, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur

Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur in-collaboration with Halcyon Days, Malaysia presents the Halcyon Days inspired British Afternoon Tea at Altitude, which is only available from 15 July to 31 August 2020. This limited time afternoon tea is available from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm daily; priced at RM148 Nett per person inclusive of an exclusive Halcyon Days gift card worth RM100 to spend at the newly opened Halcyon Days at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur which is directly connected to Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur via the hotel’s private air-conditioned overhead bridge.

I actually tried a seasonal afternoon tea at Altitude at Banyan Tree some time back (which you can read about here – https://timchew.net/2018/12/03/december-2018-festive-afternoon-tea-at-altitude-banyan-tree-kuala-lumpur/) and I must say that Altitude offers an enchanting and panoramic view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline from 53 storeys up, including the Petronas Twin Towers, as well as being a comfortable and charming venue for afternoon tea. It is immensely popular on weekends (it’s even rather full on Thursdays and Fridays) so I’d highly recommend prior reservations.

Halcyon Days was established in 1950 as an emporium of antique gifts in Mayfair, London that specialised in 17th century enamelware. Until today the brand continues to create their signature enamel pieces, but are now also known as the destination for luxury gifts, English fine bone china and fashion accessories. The British Afternoon Tea features five different sandwiches, such as Cucumber & Dill, Turkey Ham & English Mustard, Egg Truffle Mayonnaise, Coronation Chicken and Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese & Chive, as well as Classic & Raisin Scones served with Authentic Clotted Cream and house made Strawberry Jam; Lemon Meringue Tart, Victoria Sandwich, Battenburg, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the classically English Apple Crumble.
