Headed over to EX8 in Subang Jaya on 14 January 2020 for realme Malaysia’s launch of the realme Buds Air together, as well as the latest addition to the realme 5 Series family, the realme 5i. Realme has expanded its accessories portfolio with the realme Buds Air, which elevating the true wireless experience with the custom R1 chip with Bluetooth 5.0 that enables an instant and stable connection between the earbuds and the phone. It also provides better battery performance and accessible smart controls.
Simply place the case on the realme 10W Wireless Charger to charge up the earbuds. The front of the case comes with LED lights to provide real-time charge indication. The realme Buds Air delivers a total of 17 hours of music playback and provides intuitive battery information on your phone. This product supports 10W Qi standard wireless charging which is also the first in this price segment.
The realme Buds Air supports intelligent touch operation and provides smart controls to answer/ end calls, switch music, launch voice assistant and enter/ exit performance mode with a touch. The built-in Google Assistance allows users to control music playback, calls, volume adjustment and information services, such as weather without having to use their smartphone.
Aesthetics wise, the realme Buds Air has highly fitting ear canal design which naturally integrates with your ear. The new wireless charging case adopts a full-arc design, and each R Angle is made with more than 20 arcs, making it more rounded physically conveying a sense of ease. It weighs less than an A4 size paper, making it so comfortable to feel almost like nothing‘s there.
The phone is powered by an 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE processor, operating at a clock speed of 2.0GHz along with enhanced gaming performance and 3rd generation Qualcomm AI Engine, providing outstanding performance in their price segments. It is equipped with a massive 5000 mAh battery providing users best battery life performance and up to 30-day standby in the price segment.
The realme 5i comes equipped with fireproof protective separation and triple precautions to guarantee battery safety. The device also packs a quad camera setup – 119° ultra wide-angle lens (8MP), main camera (12MP), portrait lens (2MP) and ultra macro lens (2MP). Its main camera also supports better EIS, so users can take more stabilised videos while moving.
Design wise, the realme 5i features the latest Sunrise Design with grains on the back cover which is processed by industry-leading German five-axis precision radium carving machine. The realme 5i will be available in Aqua Blue and Forest Green.
