Wine Day at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara

We headed over to Nizza at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara on 28 September 2019 for their Wine Day which featured various wine importers and distributors with more than 100 different types of wines for sampling and sale, as well as freshly shucked oysters from Poseidon’s Reserve.

Grand Launch of Three Stooges Bar at Jaya One

We recently attended the launch of the new Three Stooges bar (which occupies the lot right opposite Starbucks, which used to be Brussels Beer Cafe) at Jaya One in Petaling Jaya. The launch was in partnership with some of the major alcohol distributors in Malaysia including Heineken Malaysia, Fortier Wines & Spirits, Drinks Connexion, Bacardi Martini, and more.

The various distributors set up booths in the courtyard beside Three Stooges and guests got to sample and savour the various brews like Apple Fox cider, as well as liquors like London No.1 gin, Dewars 15 Years, Tomatin, Singleton, Bottega gin, Scallywag whisky, to name a few.

It was rather different from the normal bar launches as this had a more festival feel to it, with the variety of drinks available, as well as a live band keeping us entertained. Also, it was very nice to catch up with my friends from the Malaysian alcohol industry.

Three Stooges is a live music bar which serves a variety of drinks including draught beers, liquors as well as bar snacks, and a full dinner menu, making it a very viable option for enjoying happy hour drinks with some friends/ colleagues, or even for dinner.
