Named after the largest sea turtle, Luminox launched the expansion of the Luminox Leatherback Sea Turtle Collection with military and dive inspired renditions. This new entry-level watch is geared towards the outdoor and adventure enthusiast. Luminox released three (3) new rugged colourways, featuring hues of orange, military khaki and hunter-green. The orange dial model (0329) will be offered with a black PU band, while the other two (0333 and 0337) will feature the popular webbing strap in black that is strong and durable.
Similar to its predecessors of the Luminox Leatherback Sea Turtle collection launched in 2017, the three (3) new models remain price-competitive without affecting the integrity of being lightweight, durable and reliable. The watches are built with CARBONOX case, a trademark of Luminox, and hardened mineral crystal glass which helps to maintain the sturdiness of Luminox watches.
The other features of the timepiece includes the stainless steel double-gasket protected crown and 10ATM water resistance. Drawing inspiration from the shape of the Leatherback sea turtle, the three new models retain the classic Luminox ‘turtle’ case design with the protected crown balanced by an opposite outcropping.
The Leatherback sea turtle is the largest turtle species. In addition, it can dive the deepest as well as travel the farthest amongst all turtles. Drawing inspiration from such a tough creature from the ocean, Luminox has aligned these qualities in their Luminox Leatherback Sea Turtle collection.
Similar to the previous Luminox Leatherback Sea Turtle watches, the new models have six Luminox Light Technology tubes that mark the even numerals on the dial. The Luminox Light Technology (LLT) provides unmatched night visibility through a self-powered illumination system that lasts up to 25 years without requiring an exterior light source or the push of a button. This provides the same 24/7 visibility, catering to the needs of Luminox users while using half as many gas tubes. The timepieces of this expansion are offered in the popular 44mm size (0320 Series) that makes reading of time easy.
This expansion of the Leatherback Sea Turtle collection is priced at an affordable of RM 1,195, while maintaining Luminox’s signature features of being lightweight, durable and dependable outdoor adventure gear.
