Headed over to The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur for a private preview of the city’s newest luxury hotel which has a prime location right next to KLCC in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle – the city’s exciting business, shopping and entertainment hub. The hotel is directly adjacent to the Petronas Twin Towers and across the park from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, and is an immensely noticeable landmark on the city skyline, being one of the tallest buildings in Kuala Lumpur, with a striking facade to boot.

The Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur has 209 guest rooms and suites and 27 serviced apartments, with warm, modern interiors, punctuated by views over Kuala Lumpur’s bustling cityscape. There’s also a spacious Executive Club Lounge for the convenience of business travellers.

Dining options are aplenty with Yun House (the hotel’s Chinese restaurant) which serves exquisite dim sum, lunch and dinner options in a dramatic main dining area or in one of five (5) private dining rooms. All day dining restaurant CurATE provides a wide buffet spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Lounge at Four Seasons is where the city’s elite gather to meet and be seen over high-tea, single origin coffee, or drinks. Guests could also opt to have drinks and light bites at the Pool Bar & Grill on the al fresco pool deck which has an infinity outdoor pool with an expansive deck.

For a premium nightlife experience, Bar Trigona is a sleek, modern hotel bar that celebrates the rich and diverse flora of the Malaysian Peninsula (the bar is named after the Trigona honey) and is where the city’s socialites go for cocktails, champagne or single malt whisky.

For sweet-tooths, Decadent at Four Seasons Place (which is part of the same complex although located on the LG floor of the shopping mall) sells an expansive array of handcrafted indulgences such as macarons prepared by the hotel’s skilled pastry chefs.

The Serene spa will soon be opened with locally inspired experiences in eight treatment rooms spread across two floors. There’s also a wellness-focused fitness centre with a fulltime fitness instructor and a magnificent view of the KLCC park.

For those looking to organise meetings, incentives, conferencing or exhibitions (MICE). there is 770 m2 (8,352 sq. ft.) of modern, versatile meeting space, with the Grand Ballroom that can be divided into three equal sections for maximum flexibility. Additional venues include the 192-m2 (2,067-sq.-ft.)  Four Seasons Ballroom, and four (4) additional meeting rooms.

First activity on my tour of Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur was lunch at Curate – the hotel’s all day dining restaurant which has a lovely panoramic view of the KLCC park
What a spectacular view!
Curate has an open kitchen concept which allows guests to view the chefs in action

A very good selection of breads!
As well as cheese!
Seafood on ice
Girls will be thrilled to see the dessert section which has all sort of dainty and decadent desserts such as macarons
Red Velvet Cake
A wonderfully rich chocolate cake

After the extremely sinful lunch, I got the grand tour of the hotel starting with The Lounge which is located on the same floor as Curate
The Lounge is a renowned location for afternoon tea

Hidden at the far end of The Lounge is Bar Trigona – named after a rare species of wild bees found in Malaysia. The bar also uses the honey and honeycomb (so delicious!) in some of their cocktails!
The plush setting inside Bar Trigona
Next it was over to the hotel’s beautiful and elegant Chinese restaurant – Yun House
The rooms are classy and tastefully designed
Lovely view of the KLCC park from the room

The hotel’s 24-hour Fitness Centre has a fulltime personal trainer (from 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM) and offers the latest in cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, with relaxing views of the KLCC Park
The hotel’s infinity swimming pool
The Pool Bar & Grill which is located next to the hotel’s swimming pool.
