Grand Launch of LAVO

Headed over to Menara Lien Ho in Tropicana, Petaling Jaya on 8 September 2016 for the grand launch of Lavo – a new restaurant, lounge and wine bar by M Group, the experiential food & beverage specialists behind CHAZE Whiskey Lounge and The Prince Chinese Cuisine.

Lavo was opened for business back in June 2016, and provides casual dining in a relaxed environment which spans over 7,000 square feet. The interior décor is industrial chic with a touch of luxe.

Lavo has an extensive wine cellar with wines from the old world and new. The restaurant serves a fusion menu ranging from nibbles, appetizers, mains and desserts, Asian fusion, Western, Italian pastas and pizzas, sandwiches, steaks and vegetarian culinary creations.

Lavo is the third act in the M Group that will introduce six unique venues at Menara Lien Hoe. Preceeding Lavo was CHAZE, a modern speakeasy lounge whiskey bar.

“Lavo will be our main all-day dining outlet, and we’re especially proud of Lavo’s wine cellar. There is no place quite like Lavo in Tropicana, where friends and families can unwind in style, comfort and revel in great food, exceptional wine and good taste,” said M Group Director, Benson Tay.

Lavo’s grand opening was hosted by Hansen Lee and Julie Woon, and featured a LED Water Drum performance, fashion show by 176 Avenue, and a performance of Winnie K of Asia Bagus competition fame.

“Lavo has been generating buzz with a growing number of regulars, since its soft opening in June. We are thankful for the support and will be organizing more activities for patrons and adding on to our creative menu. With Lavo as our third act, our plans for M Group are coming together perfectly. We will be introducing more concepts soon, so stay tuned.” Tay explained.
