XIXILI is a homegrown Malaysian label that was founded by a group of ladies who were pleasantly surprised by the improvements of their bust-lines through the right choice of brassieres. They decided to offer women of all ages and lifestyles an uplifting experience through a personalized fitting and an exquisite lingerie range and hence came up with XIXILI. Today, XIXILI offers beautifully designed A – I cup and 65-100 band size lingerie through the advice of XIXILI’s professionally trained Perfect Fitters. XIXILI bras are tailored to a high quality, are comfortable yet functional, and are beautifully fashionable.
This year’s fashion show was held in collaboration with hair styling partner Number76, makeup partner Shu Uemura, and co-partners Arimino Tokyo, Body Perfect, Juiceworks, Ruyi & Lyn, Sembonia, Strip and 11street.
Sunrise bonfire and spiritual tribal awakening was the inspiration behind this year’s XIXILI’s lingerie fashion show which was themed “Aurora, Rise of Dawn” – depicting a brand new day of hope, strength and joy for the everyday woman. This follows the recent XIXILI Spring Summer 2016 campaign shot in the Maldives, which embraced the beautiful and carefree vibes of the sun, sea and colours.
The backdrop of the runway mirroring romantic warm hues of sunrise by the sea set the mood and tone for the event which was kicked off by a performance by Psycusix with sensual, elegant movements of lights and objects manipulation with the sounds of waves and birds mimicked by a didgeridoo.
XIXILI’s spring summer 2016 collections showcased bright, summer hues to romantic florals to bold tribal or paisley prints. Each model wore a sun kissed complexion and an elaborate lash artistry touch by Shu Uemura whilst in elegant loose beach waves and braids styling by Number76 as they strutted down the runway.
Complementing the collection together were extravagant oversized tribal neck pieces, bohemian bangles, stunning waist accessories to feather earrings and anklets.
