Wiko FEVER, HIGHWAY PURE and LENNY2 Launched in Malaysia

Wiko Mobile officially launched in Malaysia on 28 January 2016. In five years, Wiko has become the No. 2 smartphone vendor in France, and has seven (7) million users over more than 30 countries. The new French smartphone player in the Malaysian market introduced three (3) new devices – the FEVER, HIGHWAY PURE and LENNY2. The smartphones are inspired by the “French touch”, and are designed to provide users universal access to technology and fun in a single device.

“Wiko has been successful in adapting the latest technology trends as desired by mobile users into innovative products,” said Ken Ang, Business Development Director Malaysia, Wiko Mobile. He continued, “Today, we bring Wiko to Malaysia because of the fast-growing smartphone market and ideal demographic.”

With the introduction of the FEVER, HIGHWAY PURE and LENNY2 in Malaysia, Wiko hopes to introduce Malaysian consumers to its beliefs of mobile telephony: to offer quality at the best price and to maintain a close relationship with all its users, anticipating their needs and expectations.

Wiko FEVER

The FEVER has something really unexpected for a smartphone – a glow-in-the-dark effect, which when you come to think of it, is pretty useful! The FEVER’s phosphorescent design absorbs the daylight and reflects it once in the dark, making it the first glow-in-the-dark smartphone in Malaysia (optimized glow effect on white colour version). The FEVER is equipped with a 5.2’’ Full HD display that provides vivid images and IPS technology that allows great visibility from any angle. The slightly rounded lines fit a 2.5D curved glass and the phone has a 5mm visual thickness and a premium look, accented with metal frame and soft touch leather-effect back cover. The screen uses Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 while powering the FEVER is an Octa-Core chipset and an integrated GPU for graphics optimization.

The FEVER comes with a 5-megapixel front camera and 13-megapixel rear camera, for photo enthusiasts to snap 16:9 landscape pictures on Dual View mode.

Wiko HIGHWAY PURE

This 4G smartphone is extremely thin – 5.1 mm to be exact, and weighs a total of 98 grams. The HIGHWAY PURE runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 410 processor, while its 4.8-inch HD screen uses AMOLED display technology. The aluminium contours of the HIGHWAY PURE emphasize its ultra slim proﬁle and comes embedded with 16 Swarovski Zirconias which would definitely appeal to the fairer sex.

The HIGHWAY PURE has a 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.

Wiko LENNY2

The LENNY2 comes with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor, 8GB ROM which can be expanded to 64GB with the micro SD card. This entry level 5” device is available in black and white, coral, blue and green, LENNY2’s comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera.

All Wiko FEVER, HIGHWAY PURE and LENNY2 devices are packaged with a screen protector and back casing.
