Samsung A8 Launched in Malaysia

I’m quite accustomed to attending events where there are lots of beautiful celebrities present so much that it rarely makes me blink an eyelid anymore. I know some of these celebrities personally as I did get the opportunity to work with quite a few during my Mediacorp and Astro days. But I must say that this time I was quite enthralled with Juliana Evans was the new Samsung Mobile A8 Malaysian ambassador at the official launch at the Samsung store at The Gardens, Mid Valley on 30 July 2015.

Samsung Malaysia Electronics launched its latest addition Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A8 in a glittering ceremony whereby the lovely Juliana Evans was the focus of attention from both the media and her fans (yes she has an official fan club!) as she strutted down the red or in this case blue carpet.

The new Galaxy A8 features the slimmest full metal body in the Samsung family, while providing powerful performance, and advanced camera functionalities.

 

 

The Galaxy A8 is one really sexy phone with a well-crafted design, a sophisticated cut metal frame and the slimmest full metal body. The 5.7” Full HD Super AMOLED display and just 2.5mm super narrow bezel provides the renowned viewing experience Samsung is famous for.

The Galaxy A8 comes equipped with a high resolution 5MP front and a 16MP rear camera both with a f1.9 aperture and HDR functionality. The combination of the large aperture and HDR should allow you to take clear and bright pictures even in low light conditions.

There’s a Quick Launch function for the camera where you can can just double-click the home button to directly access and launch the camera. For those who love taking selfies, there are the Smart Selfie functionalities – Wide Selfie Mode is great for capturing group selfies while the Rear Camera Selfie Mode* is able to utilize the Face Detecting Selfie Alarm to capture a high resolution selfie.

 

 

The Galaxy A8 while being the slimmest Galaxy yet, still provides a long-lasting usage with high-capacity 3,050 mAh battery. The Galaxy A8 also offers a range of other benefits including theme service, fingerprint scanner and smart manager.

This means that you can now personalize your device with a variety of design themes, while the built-in fingerprint scanner is a fast and secure way for you to unlock your phone. The Galaxy A8 comes equipped with Smart Manager app which allows you to check device functions such as battery and storage usage as well as RAM and anti-malware to optimize the device.
