Sony launched their new BRAVIA™ 4K LCD TV line and BRAVIA™ Full HD line-up on 15 May 2015 at The Gardens Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. 

The line of BRAVIA™ 4K LCD televisions from Sony, announced earlier this year at CES 2015, were built with a new 4K Processor X1, further advancing the clarity, colour accuracy and contrast of the Sony 4K viewing experience. The new X9000C series features a new ultra-thin floating style, making it Sony’s thinnest range of TVs yet with edge-to-edge viewing.

The new models range in size from 43 to 75 inches and include four new series and nine new models. The new 4K Processor X1 was built to enhance clarity, colour and contrast while improving the streaming quality of images that 4K content providers supply. Combined with the advanced 4K X-Reality™ PRO upscaling algorithm technology, these televisions will analyse and upscale to 4K resolution, providing the best image quality, regardless of the image source.

 

 

With screens that provide a 3,840 x 2,160 4K resolution, these products also include TRILUMINOS™ Display to accurately reproduce shades of red, green and aqua blue. Colours come alive on the screen in the widest colour range ever, and dynamic colour correction ensures colours are as consistent and accurate as possible every single time. Further enhancing the picture quality, these televisions will also be equipped with the X-tended Dynamic Range™ contrast enhancement to provide peak brightness of LED as well as deeper blacks.

 

These televisions also support Google’s latest Android TV operating system, making it easy to stream video, function as a gaming device and provide enhanced features like Google Cast™ and Voice Search. Google Cast™ will allow users to cast content from mobile devices, while the Voice Search is available through a remote equipped with a microphone. With access to Google Play™, consumers can enjoy what they like to do on a smartphone or tablet, from their television.

 

 

 

The latest line up of BRAVIA™ Full HD series from Sony, the W and R series, come with enhanced Full HD picture quality and super slim features.

The super slim and smart BRAVIA™ W series comes in sizes ranging from 32 to 65 inches, and allows you to enjoy a smarter TV experience with smooth and intuitive access to an exciting world of apps, games, movies, Internet videos and more. The X-Reality™ PRO upscales picture quality and makes visuals appear very realistic.

 

 

The BRAVIA™ W800C and W850C models come with Sony Android TV. Seamlessly connect and enjoy any content available on your smartphone or tablet on the big screen. Separately, One-Flick Entertainment allows you to use your remote to select your favourite TV shows or videos, or browse content across nearly any source intuitively.

 

The BRAVIA™ R series comes with an exciting range of accessible apps.
