THIRTY8 ‘Cava Noche Y Dia’ Sparkling Wine Cocktail Promotion

THIRTY8 Bar with ‘Cava Noche Y Dia’ is offering their guests a little taste of Spain with the sparkling wine based cocktails, and thanks to the nice folks over at Iconic Wines who is the distributor for the cava, I brought over MHB’s Naomi Tham, Andy Kho and some of my friends for an exclusive cocktail 38 storeys above Kuala Lumpur.

92(1)

Cava Noche Y Dia is a sparkling wine hailing from Catalonia in Spain and the grape varietal is 40% Macabeo, 40% Xarello, 20% Parellada. It is bright pale yellow colour with golden gleams with fine constant bubbles, and on the nose it has full and fruity aromas. On the palate it is dry, and has a long pleasant lasting finish.

THIRTY8 Bar prepared four (4) original ‘Cava Noche Y Dia’ cocktails which are available daily from 12:00pm onwards at RM30.00++ per glass. You may also opt to purchase a bottle of Cava Noche Y Dia at the promotion price of RM138.00++ per bottle.

The girls loved the cocktails while I prefer my drinks in its original form thus I opted for the cava itself. The live band was pretty good and the male vocalist even sang Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (yesterday would have been Elvis’s 80th birthday if The King was still around) as well as some of today’s current hits. Great ambience and setting to bring that someone special for a memorable evening, and I think the promotion price for the cava is very reasonable indeed!

Here’s a little info on THIRTY8 if you haven’t been there:

THIRTY8 is Grand Hyatt KL’s signature restaurant which offers a beautiful 360-degree view of KL city from 38 storeys up, and encompasses the dining area, a bar and a lounge. There are the lively show kitchens offering a range of steaks, seafood, sushi and sashimi, and if you’re a fan of desserts there is the THIRTY8 signature cake, and the straight from the oven Chocolate Cake which you keep seeing photos of in social media.

The bar and lounge areas offer a great view of the nearby Petronas Twin Towers and its water fountain, and there’s a live band performing on most nights. THIRTY8 has a total capacity of 368 people and is open from 6:00 am until 1:00am, serving breakfasts, lunches and dinners, afternoon high-tea, as well as champagnes, wines and cocktails by the bar.

Unfortunately it was a rainy night thus the view outside was mostly obstructed by the low lying clouds so we decided to shoot against the interior of THIRTY8
