Sony PlayStation 4 Launch at 1 Utama 201213

[Event]

Remember my post about the Sony PlayStation 4 launch – https://timchew.net/2013/11/20/sony-playstation-4-launch-announcement-malaysia/ ? Well since it’s launch announcement, gamers in Malaysia have been placing their orders and eagerly awaiting their console to arrive.

As of 1 December 2013, over 2.1 million consoles since have already been sold in Europe and America within a month after release and I got the opportunity to play with the new console at the Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) roadshow at 1 Utama Shopping Centre on 20 December 2013. I remember when back in the day I was so addicted to games like Mario Bros and Super Kontra back in the 80’s and all the way up to the Sony PS2 which sadly was my last console as sadly I really don’t have not much time to play console games after I started working fulltime.

The Sony PS4 is a next generation computer entertainment system that provides gamers with rich and immersive gameplay with powerful graphics, speed, deeply integrated social capabilities and innovative second-screen features utilizing devices such as PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita). To further enhance your experience, you can utilize the PS Camera, and Sony has a value bundle set of the PS4 together with the PS Camera.

After patiently waiting for weeks, pre-ordered customers from selected SONY Stores in Malaysia came to pick up their PS4 at 1 Utama. Hiroyuki Oda, Deputy President of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia, make a special trip from Japan to mark the momentous occasion in the world of console gaming.

PlayStation®4 (PS4™) (CUH-1006A B01) computer entertainment system is available in Malaysia from 20th December 2013 at a suggested retail price of RM1,799.00 (check the link to my post at the bottom of this page for more packages and info). Launched concurrently are 23 launch frame titles developed by SCE Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) and numerous 3rd party software developers and publishers around the globe.
