Dragged myself out of bed early on a Sunday morning on 8 December 2013 as I didn’t want to miss the Somersby Brunch Club at Signature by The Hill at The Roof, First Avenue Bandar Utama. Now it really seems that I go to The Roof every single week since before it officially opened as there are loads of events happening in the Klang Valley’s latest multi-concept entertainment and F&B outlet.
The Somersby Brunch Club at The Roof was the fourth such sessions after previous sessions which were held at Marmalade Café and Delicious Café in KL in October, and EuroDeli Café, Penang in November 2013. This was my 9th visit to The Roof and my first time ever attending the Somersby Brunch Club!
Eugene Lim, Brand Manager Somersby Apple Cider shared that the concept of the Somersby Brunch Club is to create a new drinking occasion, an ideal platform for consumers to try and enjoy the refreshing taste of cider while having their meal in a relaxing ambience during brunch. Carlsberg Malaysia, the importer and distributor of Somersby Cider learned more about their consumers and their likings for cider through their interactions with them by offering them a unique cider and food pairing. Since its introduction in July last year, Somersby Apple Cider has performed above expectations and is on the way to becoming the country’s fastest selling cider.

Signature @ The Roof used the occasion to introduce their new Brunch Menu that is specially paired with Somersby Apple Cider. The complete Brunch Menu, which will be made available soon, will offer fourteen dishes ranging from sandwiches, salads to the exotic Mediterranean Grilled Salmon, accompanied with a bottle of Somersby Apple Cider, bringing a twist to the boring ol’ Sunday brunch!
Dax Lee, Director, The Group F&B said, “We built The Roof to become the epitome of Kuala Lumpur’s premium dining and entertainment scene that offers the ultimate lifestyle experience. Today, we are proud to partner with Somersby to launch Signature by The Hill’s brunch menu and available every Saturday and Sunday”.
Well I guess Sunday mornings will never be the same. Leave coffee for weekdays when you really need it and have a bottle (or two or three or in my case eight) of Somersby Cider instead!
BTW you can share the spirit of giving this Christmas with Somersby Apple Cider and buy a book for charity and exchange it for a bottle of Somersby Apple Cider at Pavilion KL, Level 3 Fashion Avenue from 13th to 26th December 2013.
