Launch of Beach Club Version 1.2
The legendary Beach Club, located along Jalan P. Ramlee in Kuala Lumpur, has relocated to a new premise, which is just 100 metres down the road starting 9 November 2013.
The new premises is located even nearer the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, and the new Beach Club Café, or preferably known as Beach Club Café…Mark 1.2, is spread over two floors, offering revitalised, refreshed and redesigned hospitality while staying true to the D.N.A of its predecessor, Beach Club Café…the Original.
Andy Kho and I attended the media sneak preview of the new Beach Club Cafe on 6 November, and we were taken on a bus (Carlsberg Where’s the Party? style) from the current Beach Club to the new one down the road.
“We stay true to our core concept and hospitality as we want our regulars to feel at home and not lose sight of our reputed identity and trademark. Beach Club Café can be easily identified with its relaxing beach concept, authentic attap roof, Balinese architecture and décor, iconic Shark Aquarium which is 3 times bigger and accommodates up to 6 black tip sharks, while offering the same great entertaining local live bands and engaging DJs to our patrons”, said Judy Choong, Group Executive Director of Beach Club Café who also paid tribute to her late husband and entertainment outlet mogul Ronnie Choong.
“Raising the bar higher, Beach Club Café…Mark 1.2 has many patios and terraces offering alfresco dining, bars, lounges and a VIP section that serve great variety of beers by Carlsberg Malaysia and wide selection of champagne and signature cocktails. 85% of our patrons are tourists and expatriates who often attracted to this “only beach” in the middle of the concrete jungle. In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2014, we expect to record higher traffic and have in store a series of shows and promotions that offer more excitement, more fun and greater vibes,” said Judy.
So if you’re planning to visit the Beach Club in Kuala Lumpur, do remember that’s it has moved to its new premises which is just 100 meters down the road.
