ABSOLUT Hibiskus Finale @ The View Rooftop Bar

The ABSOLUT Brand Store was conceptualised and developed by Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail and ABSOLUT and was officially opened on 27 September 2013 at Contact Pier Zone F, Shop R26, KLIA Main Terminal Building.

The store is fitted with cobalt blue and glass, with intricate designs and patterns to reflect the innovation and creativity of the ABSOLUT brand experience, while there is an ABSOLUT host who will invite customers to taste a range of ABSOLUT HIBISKUS cocktails from the store’s bespoke bar.

On the bar sits a tablet where customers can vote for one of the five Malaysianised cocktails made from ABSOLUT Hibiskus. These cocktails are ABSOLUT Calamansi, ABSOLUT HIBISKUS Ginger Lime, ABSOLUT HIBISKUS Chilli, ABSOLUT HIBISKUS Pom-Rose and ABSOLUT HIBISKUS Tropical Passion. Customers are encouraged to vote for the cocktail that best represents Malaysia.

The ABSOLUT Brand Store in KLIA is the only other place in the world besides the ABSOLUT warehouse located in Åhus, southern Sweden where you can find all our ABSOLUT flavours under one roof.

Display panels are evident at the ABSOLUT Brand Store and provide a visual feast of the endless cocktails possible. At the storefront a giant screen displays real-time updates of customers ordering Absolut cocktails around the world through the drinkspiration app at http://www.absolutdrinks.com/en/drinkspiration/

The opening ceremony also saw the introduction of the ABSOLUT HIBISKUS to the travel retail space, Mixology classes are available for a selected number of store guests. These hands-on classes will bring the ABSOLUT brand to life and educate customers on the premium nature of ABSOLUT and the versatility of mixing this white spirit in high-end cocktails. A body artist will also be in- store during October, decorating travellers’ hands with an air-brushed washable tattoo of a hibiscus flower – a symbolic homage to the ABSOLUT HIBISKUS.

ABSOLUT HIBISKUS Finale @ The View Rooftop Bar

Later that night ABSOLUT capped off a month-long celebration of the ABSOLUT Celebrating a Distinct Mix campaign featuring the ABSOLUT Hibiskus with the finale party at the View Rooftop Bar at G Tower, Kuala Lumpur on 28 September 2013.

ABSOLUT HIBISKUS is incredibly easy to mix – perfect for creating complex cocktails and still sensational by adding just one ingredient. The slightly acidic, berry-flavour hibiscus is underlined by the sweet notes of pomegranate – made from all natural ingredients.
