Smashies Burger Launch
With the so called gourmet-burget joints springing up like mushrooms all over the Klang Valley I knew I had to go for this one as I’m quite a fan of burgers as my partner will tell you (she’s into healthy-eating so don’t think I can take her for any unless the burger is made of vege or something).
So off I went to Metro Genting along Jalan Genting Klang on 8 July 2013 with MHB’s Choo Mei Sze to see what all the fuss was about.
Smashies Burger is actually locally owned and the name comes from the burger patties which are made by “smashing” a ball of pure ground beef/ chicken on the grill, and searing in its natural juices to lock in the taste.

Upcoming Event – MY Hennessy App Launch
Hennessy V.S.O.P. is launching a new circuit of parties called MY Hennessy Nights, starting this July onwards, with the goal of taking the clubbing experience in Malaysia to the next level.
The first of eleven MY Hennessy Nights will take place at The Butter Factory on July 25, which will also see the launching of the MY Hennessy App, which allows clubbers to get real-time updates on the biggest parties and events, the latest news on the hottest nightspots and DJs, as well as a camera function for users to capture their memorable Hennessy moments.

This new circuit of parties promises the trademark (Hennessy V.S.O.P. throws some kick ass parties like the H-Artistry series and will undoubtedly bring it’s expertise to this new campaign) Hennessy V.S.O.P party experience by bringing in some stellar music acts from Malaysia and Taiwan, to entertain clubbers while they party and enjoy Hennessy V.S.O.P.
Local acts, MC M.I.O and VDJ X Marc, will be performing at the launch party on 25 July while Taiwan’s hot DJ Ellie will headline the night with her unique spin off beats and basslines.

Heineken Green Room @ KL Live
It’s been a while since I attended a Heineken Green Room party. This time it was held on 15 June at KL Live.
Speaking of Heineken. There’s a Heineken contest running.
