Nissan Almera Nismo Performance Package Concept Car

Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn. Bhd. (ETCM) together with Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (Nismo) gave Malaysian Nissan owners, fans, and car enthusiasts something to be excited about with the global preview of the Nissan Almera Nismo Performance Package Concept car which was unveiled at the Super GT International Series Malaysia 2013 on 16 June 2013 at the Sepang International Circuit.

NISMO, the performance and personalization brand for Nissan, was formed in 1984 as a merger between Nissan’s two (2) motorsports divisions. Nismo offers products featuring innovative technology and high performance to a wide range of customers for street use. Nismo’s cars provide exciting driving experiences with motorsports-inspired aerodynamics and styling, enhanced handling characteristics and unmatched agility.

In the motorsports world, Nismo competes in the highest forms of GT and sports-car racing, such as Japan’s Super GT Series and the World Endurance Championships (WEC), as well as providing engines to teams that compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). In 2012, the Nissan GT-R captured the Super GT championship for the second straight year.

The Nissan Almera Nismo Performance Package Concept is inspired by Japan’s legendary racing outfit Nismo’s motorsport technologies. Added to the car is an aerodynamic design that is specifically optimized for the Almera, with enhanced handling characteristics and superior agility for a more sporty, aggressive look, and a more exciting driving experience.

    Sweet design. It kind of resemblance a Lexus from the back. Are those standard Nissan Almera sport rims?
