This is like my 4th rave this year so far as I attended the Music Conference Asia 2013 – Global Sound System @ SIC on 27 April 2013 featuring Judge Jules, Felix da Housecat, BT, Shogun, and a couple more EDM DJs at the Sepang International Circuit.

BT. He is an artist in the electronica genre – most often considered a composer of trance music, but known to work within several other styles. BT has also produced and written for artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Peter Gabriel, 'N Sync, Sting, Blake Lewis, Tori Amos, and Tiësto. — BT is pretty well known in the EDM scene, mostly for his behind the scenes work as a composer of trance music, and has also produced and written for artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Peter Gabriel, ‘N Sync, and Tiësto.

Honestly I’ve never heard of him before but I rather liked his set! which included a smattering of commercial hits. DJ Shogun was voted into the DJ Mag 2011 world rankings at #122, and has headlined events across the globe and also served as resident DJ for the prominent Ministry of Sound nightclub for over 3 years.

Judge Jules aka Julius O'Riordan has a degree in law from the London School of Economics hence his stage name Judge Jules. — Judge Jules aka Julius O’Riordan has a degree in law from the London School of Economics hence his stage name Judge Jules.

He is no stranger to the EDM scene having started DJ-ing professionally back in 1987 and I've actually seen his perform live in KL before but it's nice to see him again. Jules has mixed countless DJ mix compilations for Ministry Of Sound, Universal and Warner Bros, including the legendary MoS Annuals and the Clubbers’ Guide and Trance Nation. Altogether Jules has racked up well over three million compilation sales, with many releases reaching Platinum, Gold and Silver status. — He is no stranger to the EDM scene having started DJ-ing professionally back in 1987 and I’ve actually seen his perform live in KL before but it’s nice to see him perform live again. Asahi is very involved in music and has so far been the beer partner for notable raves such as Swedish House Mafia’s – One Last Tour at Sunway Lagoon and the two-day Future Music Festival 2013.

With the pretty Estelle and Hanli whom I would meet again the following night.

The following night it was over to The Pool along Jalan Ampang for the KC & Friends Pool Party IV featuring Cedric Gervais. Who is Cedric Gervais? Well he is is a French house music DJ and producer, famous for his hit ‘Molly’ which is is a love story about a girl in the form of a club-smash.

According to his official biography, as a young teenager, Cedric, who is originally from Marseilles, headed to St Tropez. There he got a summer residency at the famed Papa Gaio club. He was only 14 years old, not even legally old enough to party with the people he played for. This quickly turned into a residency at Paris’ Queen club. Knowing the only path for him was music, Cedric pleaded with his father to take him out of school so he could concentrate on DJing. His father agreed, and, as is customary in France, went to the local courts to put Cedric’s case forward. Then at just 15 years old and not speaking any English he decided Paris wasn’t challenging him enough musically so he packed up and moved to Miami. This was at a time when an exciting movement within the club scene was happening in Miami; Big clubs were opening, the power of residencies were becoming ever more evident, Cedric saw this opportunity and jumped in.
