Quiksilver & Roxy Fashion Show – Mid Valley Fashion Week 2013

This was the second show in the Mid Valley Spring Summer Fashion Week 2013 that I attended as come on, who doesn’t want to see girls in Roxy apparel right? The show was held on 15 April 2013 at the Centre Court of Mid Valley Megamall which was transformed into a stage and catwalk, and cordoned off for invited guests.

The themes for the show were Quiksilver “Enjoy the Style” and Roxy “Dare Yourself”, and the event was hosted by Capital FM’s radio announcer, Tan Chung Liang or better known as Liang who was my college mate years ago. Good to see that he has made it in showbiz and music. Malaysian Beat Boxer, A Beat C, kicked off the show with an interesting 2-men beatbox performance.

First stop the bar to get some ice-cold Kronenbourg 1664 from these two cute promoter girls!

The show started off with the contestants of the Roxy Girl Search strutting their stuff on the runway.

Roxy is a brand designed for the ladies; which features their signature bikinis, dresses, shorts and funky accessories, showcasing their latest trendy prints to vibrant spring colours.

The theme of the Roxy show, “Dare Yourself” is all about going places, trying new things, being spontaneous, dream big and live a unique life as the brand encourages girls to be fun, alive, daring, confident & naturally beautiful.

After the show by the Roxy Girl Search finalists, the Roxy models took to the stage.

Then it was time for the Quiksilver show. The Quiksilver’s collection featured a range from the brand’s core of boardriding from the Quiksilver Original signature boardshorts, T-shirts, denims, sweater, shirts and accessories.

The theme for the Quiksilver show – “Enjoy the Style” is all about inviting people to experience and enjoy the world; which encourages everyone to awake their inner spirit of surfing from within.

Quiksilver and Roxy have been in Malaysia for over 18 years (since 1995) under BRC Group Sdn. Bhd; and have over 22 outlets nationwide. The Quiksilver and Roxy kids range can also be found at selected Isetan and Parkson departmental stores.
