Looks like March/ April is a busy time for fashion brands as brand after brand has their Spring/ Summer 2013 fashion show. Zardoze from Singapore hosted a VIP fashion preview and I headed over with MHB’s Melissa Yang to check it out.
The event was held on 10 April 2013 at Marini’s on 57 on the 57th floor of KLCC Tower 3 which offered quite a nice view of KL city.
Singapore-based independent fashion label Zardozë marked its official debut in Malaysia with a showcase of its new Ready-to-Wear (RTW) line for Spring/Summer 2013. First launched in August 2012, Zardozë aims to expand its reach to neighbouring countries with Malaysia being the second market Zardozë has branched out to outside of Singapore, and it is a market the label sees a lot of potential in.
Zardozë aims to bring a differentiated product for Malaysian women, as co-founder and chief business development officer, Raveena Lal K mentioned that, “Our RTW line provides an embellished twist on their everyday wear and we believe it fits perfectly in their wardrobe”.
Zardozë’s long term plans include further expansion into Asia and markets like Malaysia will play an important role to the brand’s growth in this region. The label is currently available exclusively at Robinsons, The Gardens and Parkson Pavilion.
I took the opportunity to play with the Olympus PEN Lite E-PL5’s Art Filters during the event shooting the models and the bar on ‘Pop Art’ mode.

Zardozë’s RTW Spring/Summer 2013 collection will be available by end of April.
