Storm London Launch at 1 Utama Shopping Centre

Headed over to 1 Utama on 7 December 2012 with Mei Sze, Jiayeen and Vivian Gan from Malaysia’s Hottest Bloggers for the launch of the new Storm London store.

STORM was conceived in London in 1989 by Steve Sun, the Chief Designer of the brand. The modern and well-designed affordable watches quickly became a must have must-have fashion accessory with fashionistas.

The first designs stood out from the crowd as they were so unusual compared to other watches on the market at the time. The signature STORM designs included lazer (not laser) dials, quirky features and stainless steel.

Today British brand STORM leads the way with statement designs and trend setting products. With a multitude of cutting edge designs across both casual and contemporary styles, STORM continues to push boundaries through their innovative approach to producing unique fashion watches.

With highly original designs almost architectural in form, STORM watches are highly sought after and they are sold in department and chain stores, independent retail outlets, and STORM stores in over 45 countries around the world.

The store is located at 2nd Floor, Highstreet, New Wing, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Bandar Utama Damansara

I was attracted to the male watches on display

And I must say that I like their edgy and modern design (they do have some more classic designs too for those who are somewhat less adventurous)

Storm London watches have:

• A unique and contemporary design

• Made from high grade stainless steel

• Feature enamel, ceramic, leather, and/ or Swarovski crystals that are just a few of the high quality materials which contribute towards the STORM collection

• Japanese movement

There are some notable ranges namely:

MK2 Circuit – This watch has a modern design and futuristic appeal. The casing is made from brushed stainless steel and features a LED vertical display that indicates the time. The lights on the left denote hours and AM/PM while those on the right show the minutes.

Kanti – The stylish Kanti features the signature STORM enamel strap and polished stainless steel links and is also water resistant to 50m.

Duex – This unique watch with cut out design is made from polished stainless steel and raised glass with easylink fastening.
