As I’m sure you guys already know from my multiple social responsibility messages in my blog posts that I take the matter of drink driving seriously as I’ve had friends hurt (thank God none lost) from drink driving incidents in the past. It may not always be your fault as sometimes a drunk driver can ram into you or your car (yes it’s happened to me but I wasn’t in the car). So here’s a little something I’d like to share with you.
Pernod Ricard Malaysia (PRM) is launching their global Responsible Drinking campaign on Friday, September 30, 2011.
The global Pernod Ricard stance is to promote responsible drinking on 5 fronts: –
* Advocating Moderation
* Avoiding Drink-Driving
* Making Young-People aware of the risks linked to alcohol
* Dissuading Pregnant women from drinking
* Making Staff aware of their responsibility
In Malaysia, the responsible drinking campaign will be driven by the overriding programme name: “Be In Control. If You Drink Don’t Drive.”
So, what is Code Friday all about REALLY?
Well apart from the key message above I have no idea what to expect tonight. Guess I’ll find out later…
I will be sharing what happens tonight soon; mainly the campaign objectives, hopefully some photos of some hotties, and info on how you can make a pledge in support of ‘Be In Control. If You Drink Don’t Drive.’
Stay tuned…
