Guinness St. Patrick’s Day Festival 170311

17 March 2011 – Attended the Guinness St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Changkat Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur which was closed off to traffic specifically to celebrate the occasion! Oddly enough, this was my first St. Patrick’s Day festival. There was tons of entertainment along the street with buskers, Irish dancers, cosplay models, magicians, clowns, and stilt-walkers adding to the merriment of the event while Guinness was going at just RM10 per cup.

The calm before the storm - people were slowly trickling in at this point so good thing I got there early!
So I sat and had a few pints of Guinness Draught in the media centre which was Frangipani's upper level.
With the cute Guinness girls who were there to entertain me...err I mean there to attend to the media.
Finally the party got underway with the official opening ceremony by GAB's big guns
By 7.30pm the street was full of patrons enjoying themselves with Guinness infused food and Guinness Draught which went for only RM10 per cup.
Caught up with the MCs for the night - Phat Fabes and Serena C.
And some cosplay girls who happily posed for me.
With the merry atmosphere and cute girls (like this one!) I really didn't want to leave but I had to work the next day...sigh...
