[Food & Beverage] UPDATE – THIS RESTAURANT IS NO LONGER IN OPERATION
You might be wondering why we did another review at Ecoba when we did one at the end of 2010. Well this time we had two important reasons – to try out Ecoba’s tapas menu, and Cai Jin’s farewell as she was leaving to Melbourne to further her studies.
Ecoba – eat, chill, oogle
Jin, Sarah and Nicole (L-R)
Helenness, Natalie and Jin (L-R)
To start off the night, 2 pints of Kronenbourg 1664 for me (RM59 nett). You could also have 3 bottles for RM68 nett but trust me, go for the draught!
And Macallan for the girls and Andy (Macallan 12 yrs x 2 bottles at RM720 nett)
A CNY dinner is not complete without yee sang!
A good start to the Year of the Rabbit!
Lamb Cutlet – RM15 nett – well seasoned and tender lamb. A starter to be shared (this is not a main dish).
Chicken boxing – RM6 nett – sadly only available on Saturdays. Will have to convince the owners to have this everyday as it’s a delightful little starter!
Ecoba Tapas Platter – RM30 nett – combination of loaded potato skins, prawn fritters, nachos and bruschetta.
Chicken wings – RM12 nett – the mainstay of beerfood. This one is slathered in a slightly spicy sauce! Yum!!!
Kean’s Special Pizza – RM28 nett – Chili padi, chicken skin, mushrooms, pineapple and Ecoba’s special ingredient. Ok ok I didn’t tell the girls what was inside but they loved it anyway. For those that can eat spicy food though.
Our drama queen with a tray of mango shooters.
Ecoba is a great place to grab some good food and have some drinks in a chilled environment
