Bavarian Fest 2026 at SkyBar at Traders Kuala Lumpur

Hearty sausages, draught beer and live music are on offer at SkyBar, the Level 33 bar at Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur, where a Bavarian Fest is running from 21 September to 30 October 2026.
The festival brings German food and beer to a bar that looks out over the PETRONAS Twin Towers and the city skyline. Live music is scheduled on Thursdays through Saturdays. The festival runs daily from 3pm to midnight, with closing extended to 2am on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays.
The Bavarian Fest menu centres on two dishes. The Sausage Platter, priced at RM148, brings together chicken, beef and lamb sausages with sauerkraut, gherkins, pickled onions, pretzel sticks and wholegrain mustard. The Bratwurst & Sauerkraut, priced at RM52, pairs chicken sausages with sauerkraut, a garden salad and wholegrain mustard.
Beer takes the lead on the drinks side. The festival menu features three draught beers: Paulaner, Connor’s and Sapporo. A full pint of Paulaner is listed at RM78 and a half pint at RM50, while Connor’s and Sapporo are each RM68 for a full pint and RM48 for a half pint. For larger groups, the menu lists five-pint and five-half-pint options for each beer, as well as a Paulaner Tower at RM458. A happy hour from 4pm to 8pm includes special prices for five-pint orders and the beer tower.
SkyBar sits on Level 33 of the hotel, with views of the Twin Towers and the city skyline. The venue offers signature cocktails and tapas, and guests can settle into one of the poolside cabanas. Open windows allow a breeze to move through the space in the evenings.
The bar’s regular menu is split into sections for food, cocktails and mocktails, wine and champagne, liquor, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and a daytime beverage list, alongside a separate happy hour menu. Prices on the regular menus are inclusive of 8 per cent sales and service tax (SST) and are valid for Shangri-La Circle Point redemption.
Alongside the festival dishes, SkyBar’s food menu covers starters, mains, pizzas, pasta, sharing platters, bites, fries and desserts.
The starter is a Caesar salad with baby romaine, quail egg, anchovies and Parmesan, priced at RM38, or RM48 with a choice of grilled chicken or salmon gravlax. Among the mains are tacos filled with pulled BBQ beef or grilled honey Cajun chicken (RM55), fish and chips made with battered mackerel (RM55), a grilled sausage platter of herbed chicken, spicy lamb and beef sausages (RM52), a 200g rib eye steak (RM148), a SkyBar wagyu beef burger (RM68) and a spicy chicken burrito (RM48).
Seven pizzas are listed, including a burrata, beef bacon and arugula pizza (RM68), a shoyu braised short rib pizza (RM68), a vegetarian GM pizza topped with burrata, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, asparagus and jalapeños (RM58), a margarita (RM48), a pepperoni pizza with a choice of beef or chicken pepperoni (RM68), a quattro formaggi (RM58) and an al funghi with truffle and eryngii mushrooms (RM58). The pasta list has truffled ricotta tortellini (RM58), bolognese with beef or chicken (RM52), prawn aglio e olio (RM55) and carbonara with smoked beef strip and mushroom (RM52).
For groups, the SkyBar Bucket, at RM168, is described on the menu as a signature tasting bucket of chicken wings, crispy prawn tempura, mixed satay, crosscut fries and chicken poppers, served with tartar, chilli and peanut sauces. Also listed are Stacked & Loaded, with sliders, loaded nachos and chicken tenders (RM148), and a roasted OP rib on the bone with loaded potato skins, gravy and salad (RM388).
The bites section runs to 11 items, from salted egg boxing chicken and knock out nachos to cauliflower poppers, crispy fried calamari with yuzu mayo dip, tempura shrimps, buffalo wings and a fried ikan bilis and sausage dish. Desserts include a classic New York cheesecake, a chocolate lava cake and a SkyBar tiramisu made with a coffee bean-flavoured ladyfinger, with sorbet by the scoop.
The drinks menu opens with classic cocktail twists such as a caipirinha, a Singapore sling and an old fashioned, followed by signature cocktails. These include the Rising Bintang, made with rum, pandan syrup, passionfruit puree, pineapple juice and lemon; Tiki Baru, with gin, lemongrass syrup and lychee puree; and CTRL + KOPI, which combines tequila, coffee liqueur, gula melaka, coconut puree, espresso and milk. Mocktails include Litchi Zero, with lychee puree, mint and yuzu puree, and Meera Avila, with ginger, lemon and strawberry.
SkyBar’s own happy hour runs from 4pm to 8pm. It offers three cocktails for RM108, chosen from the Futurama, Sky Sling, Ultimate Mojito, Cosmopolitan, Margarita and Long Island, and 20 per cent off a selection of spirits, wine, sparkling wine and beer.
During the day, a beverage menu is available from 12pm to 5pm, including tropical iced teas and frappé-style blended coffees.

For anyone looking for an evening out that does not need much planning, Bavarian Fest at SkyBar offers an easy format: a short, clear festival menu, a few draught beers to choose from, and a view of the Twin Towers to go with them. Sharing is built into the way the food is served, so a platter of sausages and sauerkraut works as a shared centrepiece for a table of friends, colleagues or family, with plenty of room to add something from the regular menu on the side, whether that is a pizza, a bucket of bites or a dessert to finish.
The set-up also suits a mix of tastes. Those who prefer cocktails can find a long list of both classic and signature options, and guests who would rather skip alcohol can choose from mocktails, juices, specialty teas and illy coffee. Vegetarians have an option in the GM pizza, which is described on the menu as vegetarian. Having the full SkyBar menu available during the festival means a group does not have to agree on one style of eating, and the half-pint sizes make it easy to try more than one beer.
Timing is flexible too. With the festival running for several weeks, daily from afternoon until midnight and later on weekends, you can choose the kind of evening that suits: an early happy hour catch-up, a Thursday-to-Saturday night with live music, or a late weekend gathering. Visitors planning a daytime stop can use the separate beverage menu. Guests who hold Shangri-La Circle Points will also find that the regular menu prices are valid for redemption, which may suit those who prefer to use their points for an evening out. Booking ahead by email or phone is recommended, and with Bavarian Fest on until 30 October 2026, there is still time to plan a visit.
Domino’s Malaysia Launches Cheese & Steak Pizza Range
Domino’s Pizza Malaysia has introduced a Cheese & Steak pizza range, adding three steak-inspired pizzas to its menu for a limited time, and has appointed food influencer Adrian, known as Mr POV, as its “Chief Cravings Officer” to front the campaign.
The range is available at all Domino’s Pizza stores across Malaysia. Customers can order through the Domino’s website or the Domino’s App, or walk in at any store.
The company said the idea behind the range is to offer the flavours Malaysians associate with a good steak in a casual format, without the need for a sit-down steakhouse meal. The pizzas combine steak-inspired toppings with a grilled cheese sauce and are made for sharing.
The Cheese & Steak range comprises three pizzas, each of which the company describes as a different take on the steak craving.
The Cheese & Steak Beef Signature is topped with smokey steak brisket, onions, green peppers and mushrooms, brought together with the grilled cheese sauce.
The Cheese & Steak Chicken Deluxe pairs grilled chicken steak chunks with onions, green peppers and cherry tomatoes, finished with the grilled cheese sauce and a smokey flavour. Domino’s said this pizza is intended to have a more robust taste.
The Cheese & Steak Chicken Classic combines grilled chicken steak chunks, chicken sausage and onions with the grilled cheese sauce, bringing grilled flavours together with a cheesy finish.
Customers who want more cheese can upgrade to a Crunchy Cheddar Crust, priced at an additional RM3 for a Regular pizza and RM5 for a Large.
The pizzas are complemented by two loaded fries dishes: Cheesy Beef Loaded Fries and Cheesy Chicken Loaded Fries. The beef version is topped with smoky beef brisket strips and the chicken version with grilled chicken chunks, and both are finished with a creamy nacho cheese sauce.
To launch the range, Domino’s Malaysia has appointed Adrian, a Malaysian gastronomy influencer who goes by Mr POV, as its Chief Cravings Officer. The company said his role is to find the craving, understand the dilemma and solve it, in line with the everyday food dilemmas the campaign is built around.
His first assignment is the Cheese & Steak range. Mr POV will taste-test the Beef Signature before going out to meet people who are deciding what to eat. Domino’s said upcoming missions will place him in relatable situations, including an office lunch that has run over and a date where the restaurant is fully booked.
“There’s something about a steak craving that when you want something rich, savoury and indulgent, nothing else quite hits the spot. With Cheese & Steak, we’re bringing those bold flavours together with grilled cheese and pizza to give Malaysians a new way to satisfy that craving. That is where Adrian comes in. As our Chief Cravings Officer, his role is to understand the situation, find the craving and solve it.”
Ringo Joannes, Region CEO of Domino’s Pizza Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia
“Everyone knows that moment when you’re hungry, but nothing sounds right. You want something satisfying, but also casual, accessible and easy to share. That’s where my job as Chief Cravings Officer comes in. I’m on a mission to find people at their most confused, hungry and desperate-to-eat moments, and give them a solution. If that solution involves Cheese & Steak pizza, I’m very happy to report for duty.”
Adrian
Through the Chief Cravings Officer role, Domino’s said it is bringing its “Unbox Your Cravings” brand platform to life using relatable food situations, with Mr POV at the centre of the campaign.
The Cheese & Steak Pizza range is available for a limited time at all Domino’s Pizza stores throughout Malaysia. Orders can be placed through the Domino’s website, the Domino’s App or in person at any Domino’s store.

The Cheese & Steak range offers a casual alternative that can be shared at home, at the office or with friends. The choice of one beef pizza and two chicken pizzas gives diners a few ways to approach the same craving, from the brisket-topped Beef Signature to the chicken steak chunks and chicken sausage in the Classic. Those who like extra cheese can add the Crunchy Cheddar Crust, and the two loaded fries dishes offer a side to go with the pizzas.
