Stellantis Malaysia has launched the Leapmotor B10, an electric SUV positioned to expand the brand’s presence in Malaysia’s growing battery electric vehicle market. The C-segment model follows the introduction of the Leapmotor C10 last year and is supported by Leapmotor International, a joint venture between Stellantis and Leapmotor focused on developing electric vehicles for international markets.

The B10 represents the third global model in Leapmotor’s lineup, joining the compact T03 and D-segment C10 SUV. The launch aligns with the brand’s expansion strategy targeting more than 20 countries by the end of 2025.

The B10 utilizes Leapmotor’s LEAP3.5 architecture with Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) 2.0+ platform technology, developed in collaboration with the Stellantis Chassis Master team. The integrated battery-chassis design achieves a 50:50 front-rear weight distribution and 36,360Nm/deg torsional stiffness.

The vehicle’s electric drive system weighs 60 kilograms and delivers 218 horsepower (160 kilowatts) and 240 newton-meters of torque, enabling acceleration from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in eight seconds. The system features a lithium-iron phosphate battery pack with intelligent monitoring for battery management and longevity.

The B10 offers two battery configurations. The LIFE variant includes a 56.2 kilowatt-hour battery providing 361 kilometers of WLTP range, while the DESIGN variant features a 67.1 kilowatt-hour battery offering 434 kilometers of range. Both variants support fast charging with 30% to 80% DC charging achievable in under 20 minutes. The maximum DC charging capacity is 140 kilowatts for the LIFE variant and 168 kilowatts for the DESIGN variant.

The B10 measures 4,515 millimeters in length, 1,885 millimeters in width, and 1,655 millimeters in height, with a 2,735-millimeter wheelbase and 170 millimeters of ground clearance. The exterior features full-LED headlamps, flush door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.265.

Interior passenger space measures 2,390 millimeters, with front headroom of 1,027 millimeters and rear headroom of 1,005 millimeters. Cargo capacity is 430 liters, expandable to 1,700 liters with rear seats folded, plus a 25-liter front trunk. The cabin incorporates 22 storage compartments throughout.

The digital interface centers on a 14.6-inch infotainment screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip with up to 16 gigabytes of memory. The system runs Leap OS 4.0 Plus and supports over-the-air updates, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration scheduled for January 2026. An 8.8-inch instrument screen displays driver information, complemented by a standard 360-degree camera system.

The B10 achieved a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating with 93% scores in both adult and child protection categories. Safety equipment includes seven airbags, 12 sensors, and 17 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems enabling Level 2 autonomous driving capability. Features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering Control, Autonomous Emergency Brake, and Blind Spot Detection.

The driving range of the B10 is offered in two configurations as follows:

The B10 is available in two trim levels: the LIFE variant priced at RM107,800 with dark grey fabric interior, and the DESIGN variant at RM118,800 with a choice of dark grey or shadow grey ECO leather upholstery. Launch promotions for the first 200 customers include an RM8,000 rebate on the LIFE variant (bringing the price to RM99,800) and an RM9,000 rebate on the DESIGN variant (RM109,800).

Five exterior colours are available: Metallic Black, Light White, Tundra Grey, Dawn Purple, and Starry Night Blue. The Starry Night Blue incorporates over 300 shades inspired by Van Gogh’s artwork.

The vehicle is covered by a six-year or 150,000-kilometer vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer battery warranty, whichever comes first. Service intervals are set at one year or 20,000 kilometers.
