Festive Season at The Park: Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Debuts Holiday Dining Experiences

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is launching its inaugural year-end festivities with “Festive Season at The Park,” a curated series of dining experiences and celebrations spanning from late November through New Year’s Eve.

The luxury hotel, situated on the 75th floor above the capital, will transform its three signature venues—Merdeka Grill, Park Lounge, and Cacao Mixology & Chocolate—into festive destinations featuring seasonal menus, cocktails, and afternoon teas designed to bring together families and friends during the holiday season.

Merdeka Grill will present multiple festive menus throughout December, beginning with two- and three-course lunch options featuring dishes such as Coconut Lobster Bisque, Braised Angus Beef Cheek, and Pan-fried Barramundi. Prices start at MYR 198 for the two-course menu and MYR 228 for three courses.

The restaurant’s Christmas Eve offering comprises a seven-course dinner menu showcasing lightly smoked salmon, Atlantic cod with truffle jus, and a choice of Grilled Wagyu with seasonal vegetables or Dry-Aged Duck Breast with foie gras. The experience is priced at MYR 798 per person.

Christmas Day will feature a four-course lunch at MYR 498 per person, while New Year’s Eve brings a seven-course dinner including Truffle Chawanmushi, Lobster Risotto, and Pan Seared Rainbow Trout, also priced at MYR 798.

Park Lounge will host a Festive Afternoon Tea from 28 November through 28 December 2025, excluding Christmas Day. The experience includes savoury selections like Fennel-Cured Salmon Pie Tee and Lobster Dumpling with Tom Kha, alongside classic scones and a dessert trolley. Pricing begins at MYR 218 per person, or MYR 320 with champagne.

The venue’s Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet features rock lobster, freshly shucked oysters, Tournedos Rossini, and River Prawn Laksa Sarawak, culminating in Executive Pastry Chef Holger Deh’s chocolate-themed dessert buffet. The dinner is priced at MYR 488 per person, with half-price options for children aged six to twelve.

Christmas Day brunch offers Asian, Western, and Malaysian heritage dishes at the same price point, while the New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet, featuring Wagyu Beef Dan Dan Noodles and Slow-Cooked Wagyu Prime Rib, is priced at MYR 688 per person. Optional beverage packages are available for both events.

Park Lounge’s Bakery Bar will offer festive takeaway items, including Christstollen, Penang Vanilla Panettone, Yule Logs, and handcrafted cakes. Online ordering is available with 48-hour advance notice, with items starting at MYR 48.

Cacao Mixology & Chocolate will ring in 2026 with the Cacao Countdown, a New Year’s Eve package priced at MYR 888 per person. The event, running from 10 PM to 2 AM, includes champagne, selected spirits, canapés, live band entertainment, and a lucky draw against the backdrop of the city skyline.

Throughout the season, the venue will also offer limited-edition festive cocktails crafted with premium whisky and rum, starting at MYR 85, including a Christmas Festive Cacao Flight Experience paired with dark chocolate desserts.
